Guest guest
Chelle, Thanks for the tip. That's a great idea. And yes I do have a Petsmart not far from me. It's great you are able to volunteer there as you do. That is just awesome! I need something like that to make me feel like I'm still useful. Being a Mom is one thing, but as you know, 16 yr olds just don't need you that much anymore. I hate the thought that he'll be leaving home in a few years I really dread that. I'm so glad your cause is a no kill facility. We do have a place here in my little town called Pets and People. They are also a no kill place. I'll have to see what I can do. I want to give her to someone who is getting her with plans to keep her for life. She's a good girl and deserves a good home. Thanks again, Tommie Pets Tommie, Do you have Petsmart where you live? I volunteer for animal allies, which rescues kitties who need a home. I think all Petsmarts in Virginia do rescues. You might check and see if you can find your siamese a new home through something like this. We are a no kill rescue, so it's never a worry if someone has to give up an animal. We take very good care of our kitties - vet work, loving, medication, vaccinations, and finding them really good homes. I love that part of my life right now, because I am helping something that is more helpless than I am. It is only an hour a week, but it makes me feel worthwhile. Hard to do with my shoulder, but very worth it. Chelle
Guest guest
Chelle, I didn't know that PetSmart did that. I wonder if they do, here in Rapid City. What a neat thing. I'm going to call ours.
