Also, it is usual to have an overnight stay? Should there be regular check up after implantation? Do we have an average op time for replacement of implants? Also, we know that Soya implants were banned in 2000 but when was Silicone gel considered a Risk? And were they still considered a risk after 2000? In the UK, patients who had to have the Soya implants out were given a two month or so time lapse before replacement. I wasn't. I wasn't also offered my implants of Soya or told anything about that op and no control was done before explantation of them or after re implanting. Surely, they should have done a scan before they took them out as they had leaked to see where the liquid had gone ?
