Guest guest
I was trying on a dress for my son's wedding on the fourth of July and I could feel my back starting to hurt. I think it is because I walk crooked.I wear a small lift in my shoe on the bad leg. I told the doc that one leg was longer than the other but he blew it off and said I would have to have special tests to really determine the difference. Also I can feel the vertibre in mid back crack when I move. no pain there yet thank God. Its my lower back where I had the surgery years ago. Anyone ever have more than one surgery for back. I have metal to stabilize a fractured vertibre on L 4. Just needed to vent. BEV

Guest guest
Bev, What about a chiropractor while you're waiting on doctor stuff? Mine always checks to make sure my legs are the same length and if they aren't she works on my hips and lower back. Just a thought. Guest guest
Hi Bev, I had a lumbar laminectomy in 1988 and then a lumbar fusion in 1989. Neither surgery fixed my back problem. I have back pain everyday all day. I went for all the physical therapy and even went to a five day a week eight hours a day pain management clinic and got no relief. Finally, the doctor at the pain clinic just got frustrated and kicked me out because he couldn't fix me. Since then I have added diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, and arthritis to my agenda. Needless to say, my pain level is pretty high these days. But, as they say life goes on. Some days are better than others. Some days really suck though. It seems the biggest problem these days is getting the doctors to understand this pain deal. They either act like they don't believe me or they just don't seem to understand how bad the pain is. I wish doctors were more educated in pain management. I hope you are well. Guest guest
Geez, Rita, that's awful. Can you find a different doctor? Chelle
