Women's Health, Dr. Zuckerman, Ph.D., president,

National Research Center for Women & Families, and

Bettye Green, RN, president of African American Women

in Touch will hold a " Morning Newsmaker " news

conference at the National Press Club, National Press

Building (13th Floor), 14th & F Streets NW,

Washington, DC at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3.

Wood, Zuckerman and Green will discuss a new report on

the lack of long-term safety data for silicone breast

implants, worrisome data on surgery complications and

interference with mammograms, and limitations on

breast cancer treatments. The report also documents

the lack of data on African American, Asian, and

Hispanic breast cancer patients, and the reasons why

their experiences may differ from white patients.
