Guest guest
Hello all, Just wanted to touch base with all of you good people. Right after the surgery I felt better for the first 3 days. But after that third day it felt like I had been hit by two train at high speed. The pain is back....not quite as bad but it's steady pain like before. Will continue with seeing the Holistic Doctor and trying to take good care of myself. Much love, Rommie__________________________________________________
Guest guest
I have wondered if a lot of women who feel great right after explant are feeling so much better because of all of the drugs used for the surgery itself. It makes some sense because it would take a few days for the drugs to clear the body, at which time the pain returns. Surgery would eliminate the source of the problem, detoxing would take care of the systemic damage. Guest guest
I believe it was Dr. Melmed who told me that, in some cases, surgery itself causes the body to release certain hormones that can make one feel better . . . Personally, I don't know. Guest guest
Hi Rommie, Sorry that you're experiencing pain. The same thing happened to me, and I think it was actually on the 3rd day that the train hit me as well!! First day felt funky from the surgery, second day was riding around Ohio with my husband and even dined in a restaurant, 3rd day - felt really bad. I think it's because we were already in a weakened state, and possibly the surgery stirs up some of the toxins that are located in the area, and possibly also triggers an immune response. I'm not educated in this area, but that was my own rationalization.
