Re: Fluconazole -need help from those who have done the protocol

We just started fluconazole this past Monday and per DAN will start Valtrex this Monday. My 40 pound 5 year old was only prescribed 10 mg ONCE a day. I have been waiting for some negative side effects but am seeing nothing. After reading these posts I feel certain it's not enough for him..... Any thoughts from those who have done this protocol????

We are wondering if our 7 year old, 53 lb. son is getting a low or an accurate dose of Diflucan (it's actually Fluconazole, which is the same thing). He gets 40 mg 2 times a day. We know is yeast is way out of whack, so is this a time when more is better? Would it be a good idea to double the dose to 80 mg 2 times a day?

I will not hold anyone responsible for this advice, as I hold myself responsible for my son's health. I am just looking for someone who has a child my son's age & size to share their dose of Diflucan & if it's working for them.

That's waaaay too low of a dose.  My son was on 75mg and he's about 35#s.
