Re: why have pathologist check implants?

Dr. Blais specializes in this type of testing and goes more than the

extra mile to find out what pathogens are in the implants. I don't

know what the regular pathologists test for, but I know they don't

look for the same things that Dr. Blais does. I guess it depends on

your need to know - if you want to know what's been floating around

inside your implants, that could have possibly contributed to your

illness, then you should get them checked. Not everyone gets them

checked by Dr. Blais, but I wasn't able to get mine checked and I

would have liked to.

Most pathologists just look under a scope to see what

is there. . . Dr. Blais will culture your

implant/capsule and see what GROWS!

So far the chance has been slim to none....

But there are still cases in court, so maybe we will see different

outcomes than what we've seen until now. Again, the chances are

slim to none, as the manufacturer's have learned to fight their way

through these cases and win.
