Guest guest
, I haven't scheduled surgery with her yet. I'm getting the tests done that she requested and then will take it from their. My husband wants to go with me for the consultation so we'll have to work around his work schedule. Thanks for your info. Penni Penni I have surgery with dr kolb on the 27th of this month. When are you having your surgery with her? Most men want a solid answer and my husband is the same way but there is no proof, no answer other then to take the implants out and see if you get better. 99% of the women DO get healthy again and having a foriegn object in your body is never without risk. With so many Doctors saying implants don't make women ill it is hard to believe especially when everyday thousands of women choose to get implants...they have no idea what is to come a few years down the road. Best of luck to you!!HUGS,
Guest guest
, good luck on the 27th. You've gone through alot of soul searching before making this decision, and I'm happy that you've come to this decision. Sis > > I have surgery with dr kolb on the 27th of this month. Guest guest
If stress always caused cancer, I'd have cancer by now. Good grief, have I been through some stressors in my life. But not to fear - after your explant, you can rest knowing that you have done a positively wonderful thing for your body. I like Lynda's suggestion. And when I had my explant, I made a CD of my favorite relaxing music to take with me (I went out of state for my explant). That music was VERY helpful. Have you ever tried deep breathing exercises or any kind of meditation? > > > > > > > > > > > By the way I have silicone implants and they > > > > were > > > > > > put in three years > > > > > > ago, I had saline for 5 years prior to that and > > > > I > > > > > > had symptoms but was > > > > > > always told it was " just stress " . > > > > > > > > > > > > HUGS, > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >Opinions expressed are NOT meant to take the place > > > > of advice given > > > > >by licensed health care professionals. Guest guest
<<they have no idea what is to come a few years down the road.>> SO TRUE. , I was an electrical engineer before I went into law, so I understand about wanting 'answers'. It's not just men. I was not a receptive patient. I had my implants out because I did figure out they might have something to do with the hives. I had no idea they had made me as sick as they did, until I started feeling so much better. It has only been two years, and it seems like a bad dream. I feel I am getting my life back. > > > > I have surgery with dr kolb on the 27th of this month.
