Guest guest
While I am certainly not an expert on the bible, I would think that the use of herbs isn't considered a sin. Guest guest
Laurie, I've been down this road too. I don't think there is anything wrong with it biblically, but again, it comes down to your ultimate focus....and what may not be a sin for someone may be sin for someone else because of the manner in which they go about it. At the time that I tried the herbal enhancements, I believe I still had an improper focus on my breasts. Implants didn't work, so I was looking at any other options I had. Ultimately, I had to get to a point of seeing myself as God saw me and learn to love my body the way God made it. And when I learned to dwell in the love that I knew God had for me, I was at peace. Also, remember that herbal supplements will have an effect upon your hormonal balance. That is how they work, and it can create symptoms such as brain fog, which was my worst. Hormones are very much involved in autoimmune diseases, so don't discount the very real possibilitites of dealing with thyroid issues or other endocrine imbalances. Bottom line is that I think it is okay, biblically, as long as you are in relationship with God and walking with Him closely. Guest guest
Laurie, How about wearing breast enhancers? It is like wearing a padded bra, but they add a little bit more, and it can make a difference in the way you feel about yourself. I wear them myself, and I am okay with that. I wear makeup too! I think it is fun to dress up and look good...we all want to feel good about ourselves and look nice for our husbands. But this is the safe way to do it. No surgery, no drugs, no major body alterations. So, if you have not tried them, that is one option. They look completely natural, and you can buy bras with pockets that they fit into very nicely. I bought my first pair right after explant, in 1998. I still have the original pair and it has been 8 years. I guess I have to say they are durable! I wear the breast enhancers for me, so I can wear the clothes I want and feel good about it. My husband doesn't think I need them, and he loves my breasts the way they are. It's just something to think about. They may not be for everyone, but it's an option that you may be willing to consider. Guest guest
Laurie, I have two bras that I really love to use with the enhancers. My most very favorite is one I just recently found at EBAY. They are called the -Amber Gel Bra. If you do a search on ebay, you should be able to find a bunch of them, and they are not expensive at all! I love them because they have an absolutely perfect pocket to put enhancers in! It prevents the enhancer from slipping out at all. They stay put,and nobody can ever tell they are there! The gel enhancer that they come with is a little lame, but it works. But I use the original silicone enhancers I bought in 1998, and they fit in there too, so you can either use the gel pads that come with the bra, or use your own. This bra also has removable straps, so you can use it halter style, or strapless. It is perfect. I have also used a Vanity Fair bra that has a pocket, but since my enhancer wanted to slip a little in that one, I ended up sewing in a lace flap to keep them in place. It's worked well for years, but I do like the Amber bra better! You can find enhancers in various places online. In our links section, we have a whole bunch of places listed that sell enhancers at various prices. Check them out! I hope this helps! Hugs, Patty Laurie, > > I've been down this road too. Guest guest
- Laurie I totally understand how you feel as I was in the exact same boat. It was very hard on my self esteem to have absolutely no breast tissue of any kind. But my husband didn't seem to mind--it was me. When my sisters got implants and I saw them, I wanted them too. They seemed so safe. My husband supported me but never pushed me. We both loved that I finally had breasts. I had them for eleven years. I was so glad not to be totally flat in nightgowns. It did improve my self esteem but I also hated my really thin legs and my c- section scar and I couldn't change those things no matter how hard I tried. Anyway, the breasts were a compromise. They kind of looked like fake balls on my chest but my husband thought they were great. I can remember once he told me how much he loved them and it made me feel bad inside--like the only thing he could comment on loving was something fake. I know he didn't mean to hurt me, but it did. He always accepted me however I was and my sex life was just as good either way. He died unexpectedly and three years later I remarried. I never told my new husband I had implants. It was kind of awkward. But I was getting really sick and I found out about this site and I knew I had to get them out. I was mortified that I was going to have to not only tell him I had them, but that they were coming out. He was very understanding and supported me entirely. However, it was hard to accept myself as totally flat again and let him see me like that. He has never acted like it mattered and our physical relationship is as good as ever. but I still have trouble accepting me. It has always been me. Two wonderful men who have never made a deal out of my breasts, but I can't accept them. I am very grateful to have my health back and would never consider implants again. Life isn't worth living when you are sick. But I can't say that I dont still think about my lack occasionally. I just keep telling myself that breasts would be nice to have, but they aren't essential. I would also like so many other things but they aren't essential either. Health, love, joy...those things are essential and I can have all of them just the way I am now! I hope that you can find peace with the size of your breasts after explant too. I know some people are thankful they don't need one but it embarrasses me. Especially with everyone always making comments about how small I was. I wasn't even an A and it was always like that it was not depletion from my children. I felt inadequate as a woman especially after reading Song of . Actually I read a book by Pearl called Holy Sex where he writes that book in our language. I didn't have the breasts at all. There probably will come a day when it won't bother me but I don't know. I don't want them bigger so I can be a s****. I don't want them so I can wear the itty bit shirts or bikinis I just don't want to look like a child in that area. Does anyone have any input on this. ~Laurie > > glory2glory1401 <glory2glory1401@...> wrote: Laurie, > I've been down this road too.
