Guest guest
*Hi all,* *Im finally just waking up and trying to stay awake. dennis is heading to work in a lil bit and im going to lay out on my pull out sofa with timber all day so hopefully i can get some emails done.* *Last night about 11pm my dog timber (siberian husky we'v had since he was 6wks old...hes now 7) came inside with a huge gouge/cut under his eye. Of course it looked very bad at first but once we cleaned him up it seemed ok.....until we got a glance of how deep it was. I called the emergency vet about 40mins away frm here and said we were on way. He promised to keep his emergency dr there until we got there in case it took a lil longer (they no longer are open 24hrs...just til midnight and any emergencies after that have to go to greensboro (another 40mins away!!) He had to be sedated and stitched , they gave us a bag of meds to giv him and that cone collar that he just loves lol.* *we dont exactly know how it happened but are so glad he is ok now. i of course will baby him the next few days. It was unfortunate that the bill was 400.00 but he is basically our child and as long as hes ok thats all we care about.* ** *We were there til about 2am and i am hurting so bad. My pain levels have skyrocketed lately and i plan to call my dr to set up an appt. I decided i will not do the sympathectomy procedure for the rsd but will talk to him about meds and what else we can do.* *I have been pretty depressed lately and dont feel the cymbalta working as well as id like.* ** *Well my hubby is about to go to work so im gonna get timber situated and make sure hes comfy but ill be back on in a while once i relocate myself to the pullout bed.* *Hope you are all doing ok painwise... -- ~~~~~~*
