Guest guest
Dear Friend, I posted a while back and didn't get any responses, so I thought I'd repost. I have been having horrific leg cramps which wake me up at night. Last night they were in the back of my leg up above the knee and hurt so bad I could only walk and cry. When I tried to get back in bed, it went to my other leg. Just wondering if anyone has these and what you all do for them. Thanks! CYH! I had a herniated disk surgery back in 99 which the surgeon fixed, BUT also messed my leg up and left me with RSD and pherphial neuropathy after he " nicked " my spinal chord. He said he was trying to clean up all the adhesions and that he had never seen a back as bad as mine...that it was essentially worse than when he operated. Life's fun, ain't it...lol CYH! Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, I used to have those and started taking OTC Potassium and Magnesium. You might also have your doc to check those levels before you start taking the Potassium especially. Too much of that one and it can be dangerous. But the Magnesium is safe to take. Do get the Potassium levels checked though. Hope this helps you. It sure helped me. ~Tommie~ www.myspace.com/tommiejj PH, CFS, FMS, Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, Restless Leg Syndrome Don't waste energy second-guessing what you're missing or what can go awry. Guest guest
Yes, I'd call him since your appt is so far off and see what he says about you going ahead and taking these two supplements. If you just take small amounts of potassium, you should be ok. Do you take a diuretic too? ~Tommie~ www.myspace.com/tommiejj PH, CFS, FMS, Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, Restless Leg Syndrome Don't waste energy second-guessing what you're missing or what can go awry. Guest guest
Also Cheryl, if you call him, maybe he can go ahead and call in lab orders to have these things checked NOW, so you don't have to wait and they can call the results to you and let you know how much of each to take. Please let us know what he says. ~Tommie~ www.myspace.com/tommiejj PH, CFS, FMS, Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, Restless Leg Syndrome Don't waste energy second-guessing what you're missing or what can go awry.
