How long do I need help after explant

My husband needs to know the minimum time off he has to take to help me

with surgery. Not because he is being mean but he is in the Army and

they have a class comming throught the week of my surgery.

I'd say the absolute minimum time he will want to be

off is the day of your surgery and the 24 hours

afterward. . . After that, it's going to depend on the

schedule for your followup visits. . . You may want

him to drive you until you get the drains out. . .

Although, I drove myself to have my drains removed . .

.. I had my surgery on Thursday, drains removed on

Monday, then started an eight-hour a day class on

Tuesday. . . I wasn't ready to do anything physically

challenging, but I was able to do anything I needed to

do to take care of myself by the third day.

Some women require more help though.
