Guest guest
Laurie, Welcome! You are not alone. One thing I noticed after putting all of the pieces together was my nails. They became extremely ridged and were always blue. They are getting better now, 10 weeks post explant. Many times when you have an autoimmune disease(which we all seem to have in different forms after implants) the areas furthest from your heart are the areas that start to show signs that something is not functioning properly-hair and nails. My hands and feet tingle at night. Basically the hair and nails are telling us that things are functioning just right on the inside. Once your implants are out you can start detoxing. Many of us have had to educate ourselves in the food department. I have totally changed the way I look at food. But the sooner you get them out the better. Your body's immune system is attacking those implants! My prayers are with you. I cried for weeks when I first found out and I was so scared. But, I am so thankful now for everything that has happened-I'm not 100% better, but I am on the road to recovery. I hope this helps and sorry I am so long-winded! Ginger > > Hello My name is Laurie, > I got my implants almost four months ago. I started noticing hair loss recently. The other night for some reason I thought of the implants and did a search for implants hair loss and couldn't believe what I found. Oh yeah before I thought of the implants I did a test on my hair to see if I was just over reacting. I have always had very thick hair and could never pull the top up with regular sized barrettes. I had to use the big ones ________________________________________ The ones that are about the size of that line. Now I can fit ones this size _________________________. There is also a difference in the widths of these barrettes. So no I am not over reacting! I immediately woke my husband and told him I wanted them out but it will cost 2,500 to do that and we don't have it yet we will soon but he doesn't want to use the money for the removal it's like he thinks I am over reacting! I don't know I am just really depressed about it all and he seems not to care. I > thought he would be thrilled! He didn't want me to do it in the first place. The answer I have been looking for now is will my hair come back? What do I need to do once they are out? Are the implants the reason for my moodiness and tiredness? > > > > > http://durango2124.fotopages.com > LAURIE B. >
