Hi All,

I went to visit a Rheumatologist today. I wanted to make sure that

Lyme wasn't a contributor to my illness - although I started getting

sick a few weeks after I got the implants, which was about a month

before I noticed the bite. I told her my story, that I got implants

in May of 2005, and had them explanted in November of 2005. I told

her everything about my health history that I could think of, and

also explained the symptoms I've been having. I figured I would go

in there just stating the facts, without saying that the implants

made me sick, and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that she fully

believes that implants make women sick, and has even testified in

the Dow hearings. I wasn't looking for validation from her on this

front, but I wanted to make sure that Lyme wasn't making things

worse. She said she's had many patients who got sick after getting

implants, who were in perfect health before, and who were sick

after. Not all of them were explanted, but she was glad to hear

that I did explant. So, she's running Lyme tests that my regular MD

didn't run (there are more comprehensive tests that should be done,

but often aren't) and she's also running some tests that she says

would help confirm if implants are to blame. I'm not sure what

those tests are, but she's contacting me in two weeks with the

results, so I'll ask her exactly what types of tests were run at

that time.

Sis
