Guest guest
I just got off the phone with the Dr. Hal Huggins clinic in Colorado, and am on my way to getting answers for these dental issues. I feel really relieved that someone out there can help me, and I hope the info I obtain will somehow be helpful to our group. Here is what is in store for the next few weeks: First step: Testing Blood requisition--- through Quest Diagnostics, it will be extremely comprehensive. I will get tested locally, and they will fax those results to Dr. Huggins. Hair analysis---testing for metals, minerals and quite a few other things which I can't remember now. This will take the longest to get back, (I send off hair samples and they fax results to Dr. Huggins.) 500 Question questionnaire that I have to fill out and fax back to them. Based on all the info that I present, they will do a Bio-work-up and formulate an individualized protocol for me to follow, which will include a tailored nutritional program, also geared toward detoxification, for an at home recovery program. A huge focus of this program will be geared toward the alkaline-acid balance and the ionic calcium levels, which are very involved in dental health. I am very interested in the ionic calcium issue. I remember reading in Torn Illusions that Dr. Pierre Blais concluded that implants have a negative effect on calcium metabolism. Dr. Meinig's book called Root Canal Cover-Up also emphasizes the important role ionic calcium plays in dental health. The final step is for me to get these root canals out properly. This is too much like breast implants! The gentleman I talked to said it is important that the root canals be taken out in a certain manner to take into account certain ligaments and avoid cavitations. I have to read up on all that yet, but after going through the breast implant issue, I can certainly understand that concept. He has suggested replacement options for my teeth, which I will discuss with the dentist that I have been referred to. Much like the breast implant issue, they have a list of recommended dentists, who understand how to take out root canals properly. There are none currently practicing in Nevada. I am going to have to travel. He suggested either Los Angeles, dale, or San Diego. I've been wanting to go to San Diego to see my son, so this is perfect! He is in the Navy and leaving for Japan in June. I feel such a peace about this, and really excited that somebody out there understands my concern about my long term health after what I've already been through! I'll keep you guys posted as I get info. Hugs, Patty
