Guest guest
thought this was a good explanation of why root canals are bad.Note: forwarded message attached. Relax. virus scanning helps detect nasty viruses! no, doesn't work. in fact for quite some time, they put an antibacterial agent on the material when they do a root canal. that tells u they r anticipating bacteria. well, it's just like using deodorant, do u just use it once and it is fine th rest of your life?what u r speaking of, tho, is a product that used to b called endocal, now called biocalyx. it has been around well over 10 yrs. it does not permeate the 3 miles of roots in a tooth like they say, but even if it did, the bacteria from the dying tooth would go somewhere; it just doesn't disappear. u cannot take a living thing, kill it, keep it in the body, and not have bacteria. u can keep trying to kill some of the bacteria it causes, especially if there is pain. this is what dentists do, as i am sure u hear about ppl getting root canals done over and over (have been there myself and so has my dad). the bacteria will always win and they will always eat away your jawbon e eventually. for some, it eats the jaw bone quicker and some can go many yrs, depends on your immune system. it goes to bat for u to try to save your bone while it could b concentrating on other things. for more info: http://www.bikerchick.freehomepage.com/custom2.html <http://www.bikerchick.freehomepage.com/custom2.html> Torrie, Consultant Morales, DDS > > I have just started doing my research on this remarkable topic of root > canals and cavatations and having 2 maybe 10 year old root canals, I am > forced to wonder just what are the options?
