Guest guest
A couple of weeks ago I read an email from someone about a test to check for allergy to silicone. Has anyone had this done that could tell me more? Is it beneficial for women with saline implants?
Guest guest
Grace . . . Here's a message I received regarding silcone hypersensitivity testing from Lana . . . And yes, you can become sensitive with saline implants. They have a silicone shell. " The only one performing the hypersensitivity tests is Dr. MyHill In the UK and thats for UK people only. Doctor Shanklin is the one who was performing the tests. The last time i spoke with him he said he was doing the testing and charging $50. One of the gals said he was no longer doing the tests but someone should call him and check it out. He is very very nice and easy to talk with. I have a few different numbers for him I haven't talked to him for a while but you can try the numbers. He did the Sally Show with McDoungh, my two boys and I, via telephone. Great guy 901-767-6868 901-227-7673 or 901-685-2319 I think the last one is the number to his desk. If you look you will find him. He likes to talk and is very warm and friendly. He is a pathologist! Those are the big boys of the medical field. Please speak with him i think you'll be more than happy you did. Lana <lanadearest@...> " If you can't find testing here, check with Lana. She stays up on the hypersensitivity issue.
