How did you afford it?

Re: cost of explant...wow

,

Kenda is right here. I was very upset with myself for awhile because of the same concerns. However, my husband was more determined to have me get the explant than I. I knew it needed to happen, but my emotions were getting the best of me. I did, bit the bullet and told everyone I knew what was making me sick and that I needed this surgery if I had any hope for a recovery. I was expecting my family and friends to not understand just like the doctors had all denied that my implants were making me sick. I also had to fight the embarrassment of telling some who didn't even know I had implants. (this included my children). To my surprise, everyone was very supportive and understanding. My inlaws are not quite convinced, but I know I did the right thing for my family.

Hugs,

Hi ,I can't answer any of the questions regarding insurance or cost but I didwant to tell you that you aren't spending the money on yourself per se, youare spending it for your family. Your family wants and needs you and thisis a medical procedure that is necessary in order for you to regain yourhealth. If you were having heart problems, would you hesitate in spendingthe money? You need to change the way you perceive the surgery and cost andremember how much your kiddos need you.Kenda> Hey everyone,> I had no idea that explant could cost so much. yikes.> How does everyone afford it?
