Guest guest
Thank you Sue...really... Its sad that you had to experience them too but if I can just say thank you to my heavenly father, God, for leading me to this group. Worse is that when I came across Patty's site, I emailed her right away and she was kind enough to respond. She told me about the group, and I thought, " I don't need a support group... " Little did I know that this is so much more than support. I wonder how many other women have done the same? But despite my resistance to " support " He brought me back here. Had I not listened to Him, I would still not know... But Sue, because you've experienced the same thing, I feel that I'm moving in the right direction.Thank you for letting me known I'm not the only one. If you'll notice you can't see my face in those pictures. I'm too ashamed. However, if you go to my profile, I think there is one posted there. I'm a visual kind of person myself...my point? That there is a real person attached to that mess! Christene > > I found s picture very interesting as I have the same on my belly > exactly the same only not as many. Guest guest
Christene, I can't imagine how a doctor could look at those sores and not believe that your implants are causing the problem! Awful! . . . The toxins from your implants are trying to get out of your body! . . . I have no doubt you'll see a big difference once you are explanted and detox. Guest guest
, Your pic broke my heart. I just started having an occasional spot just like yours. In fact I even had one pop the day of my explant. These are nasty. I havent got one again since explant. I have however gotten a cold sore and more "normal" break-outs on my skin. I pray you can find a way to get those toxic bags out real soon! Guest guest
Lana, I think Dr. Lykissa, or Dr. Blais, would test them for you. Personally, I think it would be important to know what's in them. It may cost a few dollars, but it would be money well spent. Remember one of the members who lost her job (nursing) due to the skin eruptions? . . . After many years of problems, she was finally tested and the specific staf organism was identified so she could be treated properly. Guest guest
Ro, I'm sure he knew....but as it stands, medicine is evidence-based and he felt there was not any empirical data to substantiate my claim...he " wrote it off. " Aside of that I think it was the whole ignorance is bliss and denial covers my a$$ thing... Oooooooo! Now I'm getting fired up again! What irks me so much is that he was so stinkin' insistant on how it's not from the implants, but yet he literally did nothing to find out what it is. The biopsy I had only happened because I went in to see him as an informed patient who knew what the hell she was talking about. He pushed and I pushwr right back. Eventually I won and got my biopsy but it wasn't easy... Those lesions started on my chest but have since spread. They know no discrimination on body. When summertime gets in full swing, I'll send in a pic of my legs. Right now there isn't to many open lesions on them. Mostly just scars... I have half a mind to go after him for " Failure to Properly Diagnose and Treat. " At least it would wake him up to the reality of silicone and the harmful effect. But as far as the evidence goes, I've never been textbook anything...just examining my skin should have been evidence that there was SOMETHING wrong! And you know...as long as I'm fired up...can I just point out something?...There aren't any double-blind studies on Coronary Artery Bypass, but it's done in hospitals evetyday. AND...aspirin had originally been put to use without any controlled studies or endorsement by the FDA. My point being...the FDA knows exactly how implants hurt us and the fact that there are not any conclusive studies is nothing short of a shallow excuse to not do anything about it! > > Christene, > > I can't imagine how a doctor could look at those sores > and not believe that your implants are causing the > problem! > > Awful! . . . > > The toxins from your implants are trying to get out of > your body! . . . > > I have no doubt you'll see a big difference once you > are explanted and detox. > > Hugs, > > Rogene >
Guest guest
Thanks Sue....I'll be glad to post them. I am sorry to hear you have dealt with these things too! Guest guest
Rogene...You're so funny! I guess I was having one of those finer literary moments when things just flow and the articulation isn't just out of reach.... Did you see my post from this morning asking you about the fungus? I haven't seen a reply so I thought I would point it out to you... Guest guest
Hi girls, Haven't posted in quite a while, but read the posts daily. Not sure if Rogene was speaking of me or not, but I did lose my nursing job due to open skin sores..I wish I knew how to look at the pics to tell you if they look like mine did. I did have skin biopsy and culture/sensitivity and after many, LONG years, after I demanded a culture did we find out I was dealing with RESISTANT Staph. Unfortunately, my arms are totally scarred, but fortunately my sores are all completely healed over. I had had two biopsies, but it wasn't until the culture that I was diagnosed and treated properly; we're talking 4 yrs.! Anyway, I would appreciate if someone could post how to look at the pics, sorry if it's already been done, might have missed it! Take care all & I'm praying for all of us to have renewed health! Happy Spring, a time for new beginnings! Cheryl
Guest guest
Hi Cheryl , Go to the " links " section on the group homepage and you'll see the shutterfly link. Click on it and when you are prompted for a password, its " implants. " After viewing my pics, please do tell... The whole MRSA thing scares me because of the steroids and my immune system is already compromised. Guest guest
So true Rogene!! I am that nurse and have/had used every topical agent ever made, it seems! It wasn't until my culture/sens. that we found out it was MRSA. Believe me, NO ONE expected that result. It took 4 MONTHS of oral antibiotics to get rid of and because it was SO resistant, we thought I was def. going to have to do IVAB (IV AntiBiotics), but luckily the oral finally took hold of those stubborn buggers! IMHO, do what I did and demand a culture/sens., it sure can't hurt! I wish you all the best! Cheryl
Guest guest
OMGosh and I do mean to scream OMGosh!!!!!!!! I have NEVER seen anyone with the exact same sores as me. I can't diagnose you, but I can tell you I had those things for 4 LONG yrs., all over my chest, arms and most recently it spread to my tummy and legs (just a few on those, thankfully), but my chest and arms are completely scarred I know exactly what you are going through and I'm so sorry you have to experience all this, it's horrible. The embarassment, the creams, the soaps, the pills etc...and nothing helps anddon't know about you, but mine were painful, then terrible itching when healing just to start all over again. I could go on for days about it!! If you'd like to email, feel free sunbum256@.... I so pray you find the right answer. Please keep me posted! Guest guest
I'm stunned...at a complete loss for words...in so many ways it's bittersweet. Did yours " burn " when they were open? And it was MRSA? Do you think maybe you got it while you were at work? Cheryl, here's the kicker...about two years ago I found out I had active MRSA. Fortunately it was in my nose. Befo everyone starts freaking out...the nose is the most common place for MRSA although it's not airborne. The stats are high for it, I think something like 75% of people a carriers of MRSA. I guess I'm one of them and somehow it took advantage of my weak immumity...sucks to be me! ) Nonetheless, I'll be visiting the doc tomorrow ! Cheryl I could really use some pictures of yours to back me up if you have them. Please? > > OMGosh and I do mean to scream OMGosh!!!!!!!! I have NEVER seen anyone > with the exact same sores as me. Guest guest
I'm almost positive my sores were from my implant, too, but no one would listen to me. Now that the old implants are out & my body got rid of what was spilled in me & 4 months of antibiotics..haven't had anymore but, after 4 long years..I'm hesitant to say they are gone! Guest guest
I decided to try getting it done today, but the " advice nurse " was a real BEEP! She was like.. " no you can't have MRSA because if you did you would be seriously ill by now... " I'm like " Duh! " I hate it when they think they can see you through the phone. She had no flippin' clue! My doc was only there for a bit this morning anyway...if he had been there he could have told her how bad it was and that she was out of line... So tomorrow is the day! Stupid nurses... > > > > OMGosh and I do mean to scream OMGosh!!!!!!!! I have NEVER seen anyone > > with the exact same sores as me. Guest guest
That is SO not true...I had a Dermatologist tell me the same thing! (You would be REALLY sick if you had MRSA). Well, that was the same Dermatologist that I demanded to culture one of my wounds 2 weeks after my surgery, and by the way, at that point, I was REALLY sick; fever, vomiting, sores in nose, mouth,on skin,in/on my scalp(they were the grossest and hurt!), joint/muscle pains, etc. I, too, hate when someone thinks they know sooo much; they're always the ones without a clue! Sorry she blew you off..hope you get an answer soon and begin treatment & Healing. Hugs, Cheryl
