Guest guest
Just talked with our DAN doctor, Dr. Harum who is also a neurodevelopmental pediatrician, in Wilmington, NC, and found out my son's blood work was not normal. SHOCKER...right! Anyway, liver enzymes and electrolytes all normal. No evidence of strep, herpes or measles. No food sensitivities. There were a few things elevated though. The alkaline phosphotase was elevated 3 fold (these are the words she used), the creatinine kinase was slightly elevated (1 1/2 fold), BB showed up in his blood at 3% which is not supposed to be there at all (neuronal/brain injury inflammation) and natural killer cells were low (at 1/2 of what they should be) and lastly his porphorins were 2 fold elevated. At this point, we do not have the hair, urine, and stool test results back, so she wanted us to try a 5 day course of prednisone for the brain inflammation and an herb, entitled arobinogalactin (not sure of the spelling) to help increase the natural killer cells. I guess my question would be does anyone know what all of this means or knows how to better explain it to me? Has anyone ever used prednisone for brain inflammation or used the herb mentioned above either? Thank you so much in advance, Christy Mom to a possible PDD-NOS 2.4 yr old wonderful boy
Guest guest
How do you get rid of the pleomorphic bacteria? Why don't we all have it? > > This, in my opinion, is the cause of autism.
