Hi everyone. My name is , I am 41 years old and have had my implants for six years. I wanted to feel better about my 35 year old body after having given birth to and breastfeeding five healthy babies. I got my implants in April of 2000 just after the huge debate about the saftey of implants on the market. Of course, I was told how safe saline was, and that there was nothing to worry about.

In July of 2001, I had to have lung surgery (thoracotomy) to remove a growth that was found on my lungs. It was biopsied and found inconclusive. (AFB) I now believe it was implant related. I had never had asthma or chronic allergies... until the implants. I have struggled/am struggling with a whole host of symptoms, but always have had another excuse for what I was feeling. I was also not educated on the dangers of implants...and didn't know. I am scared by what I am now finding out. Even the symptoms my baby has experienced! Yes, I had my sixth baby with implants and breastfed her as well. I am appalled now, by what I have read!! Again, I was told that it was safe. eck! I am so angry.

Now, I will begin my journey of getting these out. I have a feeling it is going to be a long one. I hope to regain my health before it is too late. I am so glad to have stumbled back upon this site. I need support and a shoulder to cry on. I need people who know, and understand. I want to help others who are going to make the same awful mistakes....help them to avoid this heartache.
