Guest guest Posted December 18, 2008 Report Share Posted December 18, 2008 Hi group! My 5 year old has been on the valtrex " mix " for 18 days as per our DAN! Doctor's Instructions. We have no rash or black flecs in our poop. Should I give up after 21 days or continue on for the 45? The only major change is his OCD, he's tapping everything and now even people. I wonder if I am doing the right thing? We saw a big change when switching from a gcf diet to the scd. Nowhere near cured but better. We saw his health get better with IVIG (the 30th will be our 18th) but not his " eeetism. " I feel like screaming " please work for us " but I know it won't make a difference. Anyone have suggestions on the valtrex? Should we continue the valtrex and if so does anyone know a % of success after 21 days on valtrex?
