Guest guest
, I have read most of the books out there and I think Go with the Gut is pretty good but if you have the older version, the Virastop protocol addition is on her website already. (There is probably other new info, too, but. . .) I think Starving Brains is not the most reader friendly/easy to understand resource and is now a few years old. I got a lot of good ideas from Recovering Autistic Children by Edelman & Rimland (2006, from ARI). My only problem with Ken Bock's (4As) book is that he makes it all sound so easy. . .like curing PANDAS. I really like Sally Kirk's new book (mentioned elsewhere on this group) and she makes a lot of info understandable. Sheila ' new book, Natural Treatment for Tics & Tourette's is also excellent and just as appropriate for the rest of the spectrum as it is for Tourette's. (She is also the author of the very popular, "The Cholesterol Hoax.) Each book has its strengths and I like to glean a little from each and build my base of knowledge. Plus the keep me fired up for the fight!! sally To: EnzymesandAutism ; abmd ; mb12 valtrex Sent: Tuesday, December 16, 2008 1:41:01 PMSubject: Books on enzymes and/or biomed sorry for the xpost *if you are realitively versed in enzymes would you buy Enzymes Go with your gut? I was looking at Children with starving brains or Healing the new childhood disorders - the 4A's or would something else be better, we've got the basic supplements going and would like to look at the next step and also could use some help w/ diagnosis thx!
