Guest guest
I have been reading about some of you having " visual distrubances " , could someone give me examples of this problem? I have had problems in my right eye since the mastectomy/implant, I have blurred vision, many more floaters, phantom spots and J shaped light flashes. I got a new pair glasses just last month thinking it was an increase in my stignatism but the eye strain is just getting worse. Just to list some of my other aches and pains, who knows they might be implant related. I mentioned them to the p/s but of course he dismissed them. I have had joint pain in my elbows, there are days when all of my teeth hurt for no apparent reason, a few times I have smelled and tasted mysterious odors, other times I have been so chilled I could not seem to get warm. And of course brain fog but I blamed that on the possible start of memopause. Is there an example contract I could use to get the p/s to guarantee to do a " total capsulectomy " . I don't want to have him say he will and then do what ever he wants. I will be checking around Bismarck, ND to see if there are any qualified p/s to do the removal if my p/s won't. Guest guest
PH ~ I dont know if it is the same or not, but I dont have enough vitreous fluid in my eyeballs, and sometimes it looks very strange, like under water......when it is bad, I use lots of liquid tears......ointment sometimes at night. Be careful when they are that dry, and dont rub them.....that is, if you think that may be your problem Hugs DedeSee what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage. Guest guest
PH ~ Hello, yes, the eye disturbances are really strange. These eyes have lattice degeneras and it causes severe thinning of the lining of the eyeball. Plus, my right eye tore oct of 2003. It healed over, I was lucky I didnt loose my sight. I was caring for my father when he had a couple blood clots in his leg. It was pretty weird when it tore, mine looked like a big dragon fly in my eye, now I call it my angel. My eye doc said it was a biggy. Anyway, when I have alot of fluid in my head things will look warped. You are right, it is very weird to see things warped. I bet your toxins are moving. Dad came last night, and I fixed spaghetti for him and spinach. He told me sunday that he was craving spaghetti, and I had already been marinating some chicken breasts for sundays dinner. He loves these rolls so I fixed them as well. I put garlic and cheddar cheese in them, and he just loves them. I always send home food for him. He cooks, but loves to be cooked for. My mom was a big cook.....they took cooking classes together when they retired. Mom entered a contest and won for the whole southwest region and got to go to Iowa, and she sat by Garner on the plane. It was her chatteau brionne i know I didnt spell that right.......They gave her a special pearing knife while there, and my father gave it to me, so I use it all the time. I fix raw vege salad every day. That is pretty kewl.........You know thinking happy thoughts helps me thru jagged days.......thank you for getting me going ~ Hugs DedeSee what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage. Guest guest
Hi Patty, Thanks for letting me know what it was like for you. Makes me feel better knowing that things won't always be like this. I want to start the coffee enemas up again but I'm taking ParaNix even though I'm debating quitting it because I just realized the last ingredient is fructose. It says it's made for yeast and parasites so part of me thinks it should be fine but part of me worries it's causing more yeast....can't believe I didn't notice it when I first started. I've been drinking kefir the last few days and my vision has been worse. I think I'll stop for a bit and take probiotics and then restart the kefir to see if that's what's causing the eye probs. What probiotic did you take prior to switching to kefir? Thanks...again and again! - PH > Hi Patty, > Could you describe in detail what your visual disturbances were like? > Did you ever feel that one eye was stronger than the other or felt like > they weren't lining up? Guest guest
PH, I have the same visual disturbances you are talking about but sometimes my vision is perfect - comes and go, I can't explain why. Lynn Visual Disturbances Hi Patty,Could you describe in detail what your visual disturbances were like? Did you ever feel that one eye was stronger than the other or felt like they weren't lining up? It seems like my left eye goes out a bit sometimes. Sometimes it seems as if I'm looking through an aquarium...yet my eyes aren't watery. Other times it's just blurry vision. The good news is I've had perfect vision occasionally so I know there's potential to get it back. I noticed it particulatly after a liver flush. How often did you do the flushes? Thanks. - PH
Guest guest
Hi PH I have had some visual disturbances although that that not been one of my major concerns and doesn't happen often. I have had times that my vision became blurry and I felt like I was seeing almost double. Didn't last long. It was interesting during the pre-op exam for my explant the nurse did an eye tracking test and told me that my right eye didn't track well. I had never been told that before. Keep us posted. > > Hi Patty, > Could you describe in detail what your visual disturbances were like? > Did you ever feel that one eye was stronger than the other or felt like > they weren't lining up? Guest guest
I have had some visual problems. At first, right after explantation, I became photosensitive, had dry eyes, and could not stand any bright light. Recently, I had something very strange happen after 2 doses of Levaquin. I looked up into the bright sky, and black spider like webs appeared in my right eye, followed by flashing lights. I now have a detached vitreous. The eye doc does not relate this to Levaquin, however I wonder.... Guest guest
Hi Lynn, Annoying, isn't it?! Did you take any prescription antifungals? I read somewhere that this can be a side effect of Cipro. I think I experienced this before surgery though...I can't remember. - PH > > PH, I have the same visual disturbances you are talking about but sometimes my vision is perfect - comes and go, I can't explain why. > > Lynn > > > Visual Disturbances > > Hi Patty, > Could you describe in detail what your visual disturbances were like? > Did you ever feel that one eye was stronger than the other or felt like > they weren't lining up? Guest guest
, I was told the same thing only with my left eye. I wish we could figure this out! I am just hopeful it won't be permanent. I'm sorry you're dealing w/ seeing double as well. Have you taken any prescription antifungals? I don't want to resort to it yet this blurry vision thing is really getting to me. - PH PS. Thank you so much for the message you sent about going to Italy with my son. It brought me to tears because my goal is to be well enough by then. Your experience over there with your own son is inspirational...thank you for the encouragement. > > > > Hi Patty, > > Could you describe in detail what your visual disturbances were like? > > Did you ever feel that one eye was stronger than the other or felt like > > they weren't lining up? Guest guest
I think I failed to add that my vision blurs on occasion. Cathie************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Guest guest
Dede, What a neat story about your mom. How wonderful that you have her knife and can use it every day. I love sentimental things like that. You're right about recalling good memories...it's so healing. I've noticed as I've been detoxing a lot of negative emotions and sad memories have been creeping up...am glad to let them go and wash them away with the physical toxins! Wow, Garner...I had the biggest crush on him when I was about 6. My family would watch Rockford Files together and I thought he was so handsome! - PH > > PH ~ > Hello, yes, the eye disturbances are really > strange. Guest guest
Hi, I'm not taking any prescription antifungals yet. I'll see what my skin rash biopsys show maybe? I'm on a merry-go-round with my current lung and uterine problems so I'm going to try to deal with them first. I really do believe you will feel well enough to go to Italy with your son...and you will have a wonderful time. As I said, a few times we took cabs instead of walking and a few times I told them I would sit awhile while they continued the tour and I'd catch up to them.... It can be done. I would love to hear all about your trip when it is over. > > > > > > Hi Patty, > > > Could you describe in detail what your visual disturbances were > like? > > > Did you ever feel that one eye was stronger than the other or > felt like > > > they weren't lining up? Guest guest
, There are a lot of ways to handle fungal issues beside prescription antifungals . . . Diet is HUGE! So are probiotics! I'd try something like Lamisil (for jock itch) on that rash. . . It won't hurt, and might help. Hugs, Rogene
