Do you mean that the sauna has a smell, or your sweat?

If a sauna is properly taken care of, it shouldn't

have a nasty smell . . . Every surface that your skin

touches should be covered with a towel. No sweat

should reach the wood. If it's a public sauna - it may

have been abused . . . You'll have to determine if its

so bad it's a problem. If they've been cleaning the

sauna with some products (like chlorine), there may be

a problem.

If your sweat smells bad . . . that's good! . . .

you're getting the bad stuff out. . . If the smell is

" in your head " . . . that has nothing to do with the

sauna. Hopefully, as you detox, this will fade away.

Sinus infections can cause this smell. Some of the

ladies here are experienced with rinsing the sinuses

with saline solution. . . Let's let them explain it to

you.

Hi Rogene,

I think what Cherie was referring to was the smell of her

perspiration (yes, I'm now Cherie's spokesperson, ha ha). Anyway,

if I recall that's what she was referring to.

THANKYOU SIS FOR MAKIG ME LAUGH!

I've had a rough day mentally...

My mind is oh so tired.

I feel confused. Inside I'm fuming and ready to explode, but on the outside you

would see I'm not my usual happy self. I'm desperately fighting tears because

I'm not sure why the want to flow. I guess it's just everything, ya know? A

woman can only take so much...but I have the external optimism. Tomorrow will be

better.

My point Sis was that you made me laugh with the spokeswoman thing!

You're welcome!! I'm glad I could help. You're going through an

awful lot at one time, and I think back to this summer when I was

extremely sick, I figured my marriage was over, and I had lost my 24

year career. For some reason everything tends to happen at once,

but I can see in your posts that you are a fighter. You might be

struggling through all these really terrible things right now, and I

know you are being put to the test, but with your resolve I just

know you will come out of this a winner. We'll do our best to help

lighten the load a little, because we're here to listen and support

you - so just keep doing what you're doing, and we'll be here.

Hi! I'm so glad my messed up account made someone laugh!!

Then the frustration was all worth it. Thanks Sis - you are right,

the first time I went in - actually when I came out of the sauna I

smelled very funky!! Christene I can't find your questions to

Cheryl. I am very sorry for all this confusion - just to add to

your already bad day. I know how you feel, sometimes I have to

fight real hard not to have my own pity party and get real down.

Much of the time I feel down without any good reason. In fact,

despite my pain, I have sooo much to be grateful for. Doesn't it

Christene, thank you so much. Your message makes all of this worth

it (all of this meaning all the ups and downs over the past year).

If there's anything positive to be said for the negative experience

of getting implants and then getting sick from them, it's the

feeling that I can actually help someone else.
