Guest guest
Hi, my name is Roxana Mora I had my breast implant surgery 9 months ago and I have been exoperiencing problems since Mid November 2005. The doctors have not undestood me during so long they told me I was going through depression but it is not true. After a lot of tests I have been diagnosed with reumatoide Arthitris although my tests results do not show that and they are all perfect. Only my inmune system is a little low but they did not give it much importance to that. I think that my implants heve something to do with what I am feeling because I have been receiving medice for a little over 2 months and I am still not my old self. What is going on I was told that Saline Implants were the best and that nothing could go wrong doctors are still telling me that. Please help me understand what is happening and how I can reverse all of this. Thank you in advance and awaiting for your response. Kind regards, Roxana Lima, Peru - South America New Messenger with Voice. Call regular phones from your PC and save big.
Guest guest
Roxana, I am happy you found this group, but very sorry that you are experiencing problems. The doctors told me saline implants were safe too, but they really messed up my immune system. I suffer from chronic pain in my chest and back and was diagnosed with arthritis in my SC joint, along with fatigue and brain fog. I had explant in October and have been really struggling to regain my health. I have switched to a VERY healthy, natural diet, use an IR sauna and now have a mix good days and bad. I also consult with a natural doctor who suggests supplements. All of the women here are/were sick with similar symptoms _ We all have immune systems that have gone awry - the one commonality among us is that we all had breast implants. I don't think it is coincidence. The doctors told me the saline was safe too, but now I know better. I know the ladies here will give you great advice on healing and steps to recovery. I pray that you will find both comfort and support from the women here. I think that, as long as you have the implants, you probably have no hope of recovery. I find that without them, I have hope of complete healing. God bless you, and I hope that you fee free to ask any question you want. Guest guest
Hi Roxana, It sounds like you started reacting about 5 months after you got the implants. I got my implants in May of 2005 and had them removed in November of 2005, because I started having problems right away. My symptoms quickly progressed and I knew I couldn't live with them in my body. I have never been diagnosed with a specific illness, however my symptoms are/were joint pain and swelling, fatigue, depression, numb hands and feet, painful feet, anxiety, bulging veins in my hands, sudden high blood pressure, blue looking fingers, headache, dizziness. My skin also looked a funny color, I almost looked kind of gray in the face. I don't know if it's the chemicals in the implant shell that made me sick, or if it was from bacteria in the implant, but I'm very glad to have them out!! There are too many of us with the same symptoms for this to be a coincidence. Even though the saline implants have been called " safe " , they certainly were not safe for me. Also, the liquid inside might be made of salt water, but it's by no means safe, because standing water tends to build up mold and other toxins. The shell of the implant is made of alot of chemicals, including silicone, and platinum. You would be wise to have them removed before your symptoms get worse than they already are - but ultimately that decision is up to you. I look very good since mine were removed, they're almost like they were before I got implants, and the scars are thin, and even, and I'm happy with my decision to have them taken out. I don't know how much skill the doctors in Peru might have in this area, but try to find one who can take them out " en bloc " which includes the capsule, because if the capsule is left behind, you'll continue to get sick. Guest guest
, I became very sick with my saline implants and had them removed. I had all the symptoms of lupus but not diagnosed. I had my implants for little over a year. It is very true these things make us very sick, I am a firm believer in that. I had mine removed one and a half weeks ago and already feel some relief. I am not 100 % but some symptoms left me day one and as days go one you feel better. What are some of the symptoms you are having? Please try to get these things removed ASAP, so they don't make you even sicker. There are other women who was diagnosed with lupus, truth is they have implants. Please ask questions and feel free to express your worries and concerns. Donna
