Subject: Please post - Shoulder Problems

So far I have received over 50 shoulder problem

reports, all with almost the same problems. This is

more than a coincidence!

Sorry I have not been able to answer all of you. I

have created a file for those of us with shoulder

problems and will get back to all of you as quickly as

I can. I have ordered copies of my hospital records

relating to the problem that I will share when they

send them.

Regards, to all..... Barbara

I think it is time that we took a " shoulder problem "

count. As soon as I have some time, I will pull all

my records and request copies of those I don't have in

my file regarding all the shoulder problems I have had

over the years. The left (the side with a rupture) is

worse then my right. The doctors first thought I had a

rotary cuff injury. It turned out that the cartilage

and muscle running through that area " seem to be

reduced. "

Fact is they have all but dissolved leaving bone

against bone. I first reported it to my

Rheumatologist in 1994. I was put on exercises to

build muscle...that I did fatefully, but it never

developed. Needless to say I am really careful with my

shoulders. One would think that the silicone would

lubricate our joints, etc. Actually, it seems to be

eating them away.

I too have had a lot of problems with my left shoulder. They too thought that it might be rotator cuff but it isn't. Scary to think that it is being eaten away.... does it ever end?? lol
