No, this is not normal...., please call Dr. Feng and get her

advice on this one. I don't think you have anything to worry about

beyond an infection, which antibiotics should take care of, but this

may be one reason you are feeling so bad. Are you still fasting?

Fasting will allow your body to deal with this infection better, but

I would still call Dr. Feng and get her input on this one.

incision scar had a puss pocket on it. While investigating it, it

broke open. It bled for quit some time. This morning it was large

and purple. Then while drying of the area after my morning bath, it

broke open again. This time it didn't bleed as much, but still

enough for me to be concerned. Is this normal this long after

explant? I did have the same thing happen at 6 weeks post op on a

different area on the same incision. I havent put anything on my

incisions for scarring because of the first issue I had with this.

I am wondering if it is normal this long after surgery.

Yes Patty I am still fasting. I posted an update on my fasting this morning. I had a couple questions for you. glory2glory1401 <glory2glory1401@...> wrote: No, this is not normal...., please call Dr. Feng and get her advice on this one. I didn't have anything like that happen, although I have seen where

other women have experienced that kind of thing. You should call

Dr. Feng just to be sure, though.

I called Dr. Feng yesterday. I was expecting to talk with a nurse, I got her. She said it is possible to still be "popping a stitch" this far after surgery. Everybody's body is different. I could be having a reaction to this process. She told me to clean it two times a day with peroxide and put triple anti-biotic ointment on it. If this doesn't help she will put me on an anti-biotic. I don't want that. It is looking better today. Which is good. Putting things in a positive light . . . this may be

for the best. . . Your body has expelled the pus,

which means your immune system is working for you. Now

that it's out of your body, your healing should

continue. Just keep a close eye on it so it doesn't

get out of hand.

I agree with Patty that this may be why your healing

has been delayed . . . Let's hope that's all behind

you and you're on your way back to health!

Hugs and prayers,

Rogene

, The fast has probably helped greatly in getting your body to eliminate that stitch if that is what it is. Good job!~ I am glad you got to talk directly to Dr. Feng and get her advice about this. I hope you are feeling great still on your fast. Did you start with juices yesterday? Patty Lamse <wannabe_proverbs31@...> wrote: I called Dr. Feng yesterday. I am glad that you talked to Dr. Feng. I bet it will clear up

quickly for you! Are you still fasting and how are you feeling? I

ended my fast on monday, but I do think it was beneficial. Even a

day fast is good! Take care and have a great Easter weekend.

My incision scar is doing much better already. I am starting to wonder if my fasting had anything to do with it. Speaking of fasting. I went three days. That was my goal. However, I never imagined that my symptoms would increas to the degree they did. I was in so much pain by the third day. My legs lost almost all their strength. Like I had stated in an earlier post, my hubby had to help me go to the bathroom. But today I felt wonderful. I felt at least 30% better than I did before I started the fast. I hope it continues. I also went to counseling today. She believes I am way too hard on myself. She also has looking into grace in the Bible. I know I will get better, I just have to except God's timing, not mine. , What you experienced with your fasting effort is very promising! I know it was difficult to go through that exacerbation of symptoms, but what that is telling me is that the fasting is moving things! That is exciting! It bodes well for your future fasting effort, in terms of taking those steps that are moving things out and lessening your body burden of toxins that can affect the functioning of your body. The fact that you feel better than before the fast is the telling event. I am excited for you! I feel that my fasting program was instrumental in my healing. I fasted reguarly for several months until that rash did not appear--(if you remember my story)--so I am greatly encouraged that as you fast, you will be taking those little steps forward...kind of like having one of those treasure chest cards in a board game that tells you to go ahead 2

spaces! We know that God accepts the sacrifice of fasting because of His word to us, so rest in the joy of knowing you are doing His will and He is doing His work in you--and you are so right...in His timing. God bless you--have a beautiful Easter! Patty Lamse <wannabe_proverbs31@...> wrote: My incision scar is doing much better already. I am starting to wonder if my fasting had anything to do with it. --- I'm so glad you are feeling better and better. Some advice I got

years ago when I had major surgery, was after the scars are closed -

a week of so after surgery - I put Vitamin E (poke the capsules, not

the cream) 3 x a day. After a few weeks, they were almost non-

existent. My urologist said, " where is your scar?? " I told him what

I did and he said, " Great! " Also, when I had my first baby I had a

very tough birth and my episiotomy (sp.) was very long. Also, breech

birth. Lots of thick scar tissue. If I hadn't used the " E " on that

area I don't think I would ever have been able to have sex again!!

No joking...hope this helps.

Love and peace,

Sunny :)

Then either go up to the top and click on sign in, or try to post a

message and it will ask you to sign in. If you're getting e-mails,

chances are you joined the group - at least that's my thoughts.

It's hard to tell whose message you are responding to, because there's

nothing attached to it, just your response.

When you go to sign in, there's a message below that saying to click

there if you forgot your password. If you have a password, then you

should probably get an e-mail saying what your password is, or perhaps

this site gives you your password if you answer a certain question.

Give it a try.

That is such good news that you are feeling a little better from

fasting. Herxing can sure make us feel bad. and eliminating those

toxins slowly can make us feel bad. Keep drinking plenty of water.

Unfortunately, I acted like a fool over EAster and gave into eating

candy. I need to improve my diet.
