Guest guest
Hi Group, We are still working on our mold buster remodeling program. We are to the point of adding a heat pump/dehumidifier/air conditioning system. I need some advice on the kind of air cleaning unit to purchase that will work along with it. One of the people that we have interviewed so far recommended something advertised by Harvey. Another recommended some kind of noisy electrostatic kind of thing. The workmen seem to have limited knowledge beyond what the sales literature tells them. Can anyone out there in cyberland offer any counsel? One concern that I have is that I have read here and elsewhere that some houses had an air handling unit that spread the fungal spores throughout the house. I don't want to be making my problem worse than it already is. We do seem to have become aware of the problem when it was in the few isolated areas phase not spread throughout the house. But we must put something in to reduce the humidity inside the house to prevent future mold growth. If you respond to this please respond privately as well as to the list as my energy is at an all time low and I could easily miss the post if it only goes to the group. Thank you in advance.
