Cheryl, I used to get cold sores (fever blisters) alot starting in my teenage years. They usually followed hormone changes such as mentruation. Then I got them almost every month while pregnant. After I finished having children, they seem to only follow times of extreme stress. Like going through my divorce. I wonder if I got them every month during my pregnacies becasue I was still married to the "jerk". LOL. Around the same time I got my implants in I found out that I could prevent them by taking L-Lysine. I have pretty much kept them at bay by using L-Lysine. I was told by a pharmacist to take a month off every three months from the Lysine to prevent the virus to become immune to the Lysine. This seemed to work, I haven't gotten a cold sore in almost 12 months, before now. I got this last one, I am assuming,

because I was told to stop taking everything before explant surgery. I never started the lysine back up. I just forgot. I hope this answered your question, L Cheryl <sunbum256@...> wrote: Hi , Just curious, did you used to get "cold sores" before implants? Have you gotten anymore since explant? Thanks :)Hugs,Cheryl
