Guest guest
http://www.blogher.com/tennessee-coal-ash-slide-creates-widespread- environmental-disaster Above article about TN coal ash diaster containing mercury, arsenic, lead. Officials are saying it's safe to drink the water though dead fish are surfacing on the banks. This will be interesting. I wonder if heavy metals in this situation will be recognized as a problem? Guest guest
I'm not certain, it's near Kingston, TN. I believe, but am not certain, the waters flow I believer toward the Chattanooga/Atlanta area. I'll try to get my civil engineer hubby to figure it out, might be tomorrow though. Also, I heard on the radio today that they are now saying heavy metal testing near the site of the spill is " above save limits " particularly in arsenic.
