Switching from Diflucan to Nystatin

My six year old son has been on 200 mg diflucan 2X/day for close to two months.

A month

ago we added the steroid Entocort to help with his enterocolitis and he has

developed a puffy

face (side effect). I would like to switch Diflucan to Nystatin to see if his

puffy face subsides.

The high dose of Diflucan really made a difference for my son and I was hoping

to use a high

dose of Nystatin. Does anyone have experience with Nystatin and could advise the

dosage for

me? My son weighs 48 lbs.
