Guest guest
Hi , I have only been with this group for a few months. I was explanted by Dr Feng about 6 weeks ago. I am a mother of 3 children and know that they are a lot of work. When looking back over the last few years I realized that my symptoms were less when I was pregnant and really flared this past fall when I quit nursing my baby. Do you have fibermyalgia? A lot of the woman in this group have been diagnosed with fibermyalgia. If you read information on fibermyelgia it can come and go. Also do you or have you done any detoxing? I hope that your symptoms don't continue to get worse and this flare goes away quickly for you. I am sure that there is someone in the group that can give you some good direction with the problems that you are experiencing. Hugs, Marcy > > HI EVERYONE, I'M NEW TO THE GROUP. Guest guest
, My understanding is that we can continue to have episodes like this after explant. I don't know if you've changed your diet after explant, but if you haven't, you might need to do that. There are women on this site who are much better at explaining that aspect of it than me, so hopefully they will be able to help you. I think you might have suffered a bit of a relapse for whatever reason, so maybe a change in diet and doing some detoxing might help. Sis > > HI EVERYONE, I'M NEW TO THE GROUP. I WAS EXPLANTED BY DR. Guest guest
Hi , First of all, congratulations on both your explant and your baby! After you were explanted, did you do any type of detoxification? It sounds like with the flares you had, you were still in a state of autoimmunity. Were you ever tested? Anything come out abnormal? We have found that many women will experience a state of wellbeing through the pregnancy months, but after delivery of the baby and as hormonal levels return to normal, those symptoms can really flare, even worse than before. So, what you are experiencing isn't all that abnormal. However, most of those women are still implanted. If you have been explanted now for 2 years, I would have expected that you would have seen improvements along the way, if you were detoxifying your body and not using pharmaceutical drugs. Drugs can actually prolong the healing time if they are relied upon too heavily, because they do not allow the liver to do its job of detoxing the body completely of other toxins. It is already overloaded with too many drugs. We try to emphasize the importance of getting off as many drugs as possible after explant. While this sort of setback is frustrating and unwelcome, it is not surprising. Autoimmune conditions are generally considered incurable. While we may heal to a great degree after going through explant, it does not mean we are cured....we are really just in a prolonged state of remission if we are lucky and have worked hard at our healing. (I like to think I am cured, but I will never take my health for granted again.) Your symptoms are indicative of that hormonal fluctuation and toxic overload that your liver is trying to work with. My suggestion is to undergo a program of healing and detoxification, adding lifestyle changes that will be lifelong and contribute toward continual tissue cleansing as much as is possible. How much of this have you done in the past 2 years since explant? (Probably while pregnant, not a whole lot, I would guess!) The hope we have lies in the fact that alternative medicine has been able to make great strides in healing people with chronic degenerative conditions, including autoimmunity. Detoxification therapies are hugely popular right now for a reason...they are helping people. To the contrary, allopathic medicine offers no hope for recovery, only finding ways to be more comfortable as the body continually declines. You have a chance in changing the outcome of this recent development in your health...it's hard work, but in the end will be hopefully well worth the effort. At least, that is my hope and prayer for you! Pattylisa <lisablanks@...> wrote: HI EVERYONE, I'M NEW TO THE GROUP. I WAS EXPLANTED BY DR. FENG IN FEB. OF 2004. Guest guest
Hi and welcome to our group. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing some flares again. Autoimmune diseases are very complex and seldom do you have a miraculous cure where it just goes away and is never heard from again. More the norm is to have remissions. Autoimmune problems seem to wax and wane. That being said female hormones are definitely involved even though no one knows exactly how. But for every ten women who have some form of autoimmune disease, one man does. And pregnancy usually brings on a remission of sorts, followed often --not always--by a setback sometime after delivery. This could be what your experiencing. I cannot stress enough how much hormone upheaval can affect our bodies. I am going through perimenopause right now and while I was doing really good six months ago, am now having a harder time and dealing with some symptoms that had been gone for awhile. So I think as your hormones even out, you will feel better again. But I also think that you need to to really pay attention to all that you have control over. YOur diet should be very good with no sugar, baked goods, and heavy on raw vegetables an fruit. The Maker's diet by Jordin Rubin, which is a bestseller right now is very very good at explaining on how to eat for autoimmune illness. Also, you probably need to add some probiotics and I would recommend Primal Defense Ultra by Garden of Life. YOu can buy it online @ appleadayandbeyond.com. I would also consider juicing, and some detoxing. There are many forms of detox and we talk about many of them here if you read through the files and archives. I know that many people find good relief from pain with coffee enemas and there is more info on this in our files section. Lastly, I would take something like olive leaf extract or oil of oregano. These are both very good products that kill off a wide variety of pathogens that can make us sick with autoimmune symptoms. They both kill candida also and pregnancy and hormone upheaval are good times for yeast to grow out of control. You don't have to have vaginal yeast symptoms to have a really bad problem of it internally. Garlic and onions are also very good for controlling yeast. They are also very alkalinizing to the body and that is important for health. I really think you get yourself back out of this setback, but it may take some detoxing and nutritional tuneup. I am sure your hormones triggered it, but it may take more than time passing to get over it. And doing these things are always beneficial to our health. Good luck and please feel free to post, ask questions, or join in anytime you like. Hugs, Kathy > > HI EVERYONE, I'M NEW TO THE GROUP. I WAS EXPLANTED BY DR. FENG IN FEB. > OF 2004. Guest guest
I had those feelings too, especially the horrible pain in the back of my head. It was at the lower base of my skull and it would throb all the time, and even laying in bed and turning over was nearly impossible, as I could not lift my head off of my pillow. The good news is that it is all gone! Has been for quite some time...I can totally forget about that part of my life. It's over! Guest guest
I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I had textured saline implants for almost four years. The numbness on the back of my head went away after explant, but has returned. The other symtoms I had were hives two days after being implanted and my toes and fingers had a numb feeling three days after. Later, I also had chronic fatigue, depression, pain in my hands and wrists, blurred vision, weakness, brain fog, memory problems, nausea, dry eyes, frequent urination, stiffness, knee pain, back pain and heart pulpitations. I'm sure there is more, but that's all I can think of now. I also had three MRI's that came back fine.GMCLADY98@... wrote: The back of my head feels num too and I'm getting bad headaches, I thouht this may have been from the muscle relaxers, but it sounds just like what you are taling about...so it doesn't go away after explant ? Guest guest
I GOT MY IMPLANTS IN APRIL OF 2000 AND I HAN THEM REMOVED IN FEB. OF 2004. DR. FENG REMOVED THEM. SOME OF THE SYMTOMS WENT AWAY INSTANTLY LIKE THE BRAIN FOG. AROUND SEP. OF 2004 I FELT ABOUT 85% BETTER. I GOT PREGNANT IN DEC. OF 2004. DURING THE PREGNANCY I STILL FELT ABOUT 85% BETTER. RIGHT AFTER HAVING MY DAUGHTER I WOULD SAY I FELT ABOUT 99.5% BETTER. ABOUT A MOUNTH AGO SOME OF MY SYMTOMS HAVE BEEN COMING AND GOING AGAIN. WHAT I MEAN BY THAT IS I FEEL SICK RIGHT NOW , BUT IN TWO MINUTES I COULD FEEL GREAT. I HAVE NOT EVER DONE ANY DETOXING. I DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW TO START. I DO KNOW THOUGH THAT GETTING THE IMPLANTS WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE . I NEVER ONCE HAVE REGRETED GETTING RID OF THEM BECAUSE I KNOW THAT THEY ARE THE REASON FOR ALL OF THIS. I WOULD RATHER HAVE GREAT HEALTH AND BE HOMELY, THAN HAVE BIG BREASTS AND FEEL SICK ALL THE TIME. HEALTH , HAPPINESS AND FAMILY ARE WHAT'S IMPORTANT. ALSO, MY FOUR YEAR OLD DAUTHER COMPLAINS OF KNEE PAIN AND HAS HAD A POSITIVE ANA TEST, BUT THEY DON'T KNOW WHY.GMCLADY98@... wrote: LISA So what all went away after explant ? Guest guest
MY BREASTS LOOKED LIKE I JUST HAD A BABY. IT TOOK ABOUT SIX MONTHS BEFORE THEY LOOKED TONER. I DIDN'T GET A LIFT THOUGH. I'M BARELY AN A CUP, BUT I'M BIGGER NOW THAN I WAS BEFORE I GOT THE IMPLANS SINCE I HAD MY SECOND CHILD. I WOULD RECOMEND DR. FENG. I HAD ALMOST NO PAIN AFTER EXPLANT. WHERE DO YOU LIVE? I WORE A BATHING SUIT FOUR MONTHS AFTER EXPLANT. WHEN IS YOUR VACATION? THE SOONER YOU REMOVE THEM THE BETTER. PLUS WOULDN'T A PAIN FREE VACATION BE BETTER THAN ONE WITH LARGER BREASTS!!! Guest guest
HI i had Dr kolb do my surgery Jan 20 2006 she is great ! She is a busy woman. If you are really sick things can be taken care of for insurance so you dont have to come twice. I had to go twice . Penni is seeing Dr kolb right now and i know she didnt have to see Dr kolb twice. Dr kolb can help you out to. I had brain fog but it has gone away with following the makers diet and taking primal defense ,perfect food, i felt FYi really helped with pain and brain fog.The apple cider vinegar seems to help me to. Ive been out of my supplements for 3 weeks to a month.I think the only thing i can tell not having them is im alittle more tired. But my brain fog is gone. Ive been having people at church pray for me and over me. YOu need to get your immune system built up. Get the toxins out of your life and once you get the implants out your on your way to getting better. I wanted to get them out as fast as possible. When i found all the stuff i found out about implants the first thing i thought oh no my girls i breast feed them both i have a 3 1/2 and a 20 month but they show no sign of being sick . But they follow the makers diet with me and take primal defense and perfect food.People cant believe how strict im with what they eat no sugar no processed foods.all organic foods. But i I really think God showed me i need to do this with them and myself or i would be really bad and they might have to.I had a weak immune system to begin with so the implants didnt help me at all.I think some of us will not show sign but some show more then others. Even though some woman say im not sick there might be something out of whack like hormones .Thing you would never think about that you think is normal. That is why i never thought it was the implants. I had no clue about implants and they could make you sick. blinded The surgeon told me saline is safe. Not true. saline is sterile at 78 degrees for a yr your body is 98.6 degrees .So the saline is not sterile that is how you get mold in implants and out to. when i read what on the outside of shell wow . That was a wake up call for me. patty posted at the beginning to. If you read post from the first day patty has posted alot of great info. There is lots of great info throughout the support group board.things that can help you heal and what other people have done and much more. i will write more girls need me. god bless michele From: GMCLADY98@...Reply- To: Subject: Re: FEELING BAD AGAINDate: Mon, 1 May 2006 20:32:09 EDT I will call her she has been emailing me..i couldn't decide who to use then I found out she uses my insurance so I fiqure that's God way of telling me who to use..I didn't think you were being mean. karenOpinions expressed are NOT meant to take the place of advice given by licensed health care professionals. Guest guest
Margie, I had pain in my breast, however I felt that was a side effect I had to endure for beauty. I had my implants removed because I had severe pain in my whole body. Muscle pain, twitches, weakness, joint stiffness and pain, mental confusion, brain fogginess and much much more. I was decreasing as time went on. I had them out three months ago and I still cannot work or go back to school. I am having some improvements, but still have pain in my joints and muscles. Thinking back to the breast pain, I wished I had acted on that warning sign. Have a good day, LMargie Horan <margiehoran@...> wrote: So, did alot of woman in the support group have pain in their breasts? Guest guest
Margie, I read that your removal procedure was done in the PS's office. That whole thing just sounds bad. There can be so much you could be dealing with. I cant imagine him doing a capsulectomy in those conditions. I may be wrong, but I am sure you still have your capsules inside you. The capsules are scar tissue your body developes to wall off foreign objects (implants). The pathology report on my capsules reported silicone in them along with inflammatory tissue. My implants were breaking down into tiny microscopic pieces. I had saline implants, but the shells were made of silicone. If you still have this scar tissue inside you, they may contain the same things that made your breasts hurt so bad. Also, if the procedure was done in the office of your PS, that doesn't seem very sterile. There may have been some pathogens introduced at the time of explant. In either case, a consult with a PS that is knowledgable in implant related illnesses would help you gain a better understanding on your symptoms. Guest guest
You could go to his office and request the post-op report for the explant. It would make a huge difference in your symptoms as your body is still struggling with the same contaminents that was making you ill with your implants in. It is as if you have not had an explant at all. I am sorry I don't know how many have MGUS, but Rogene and Patty may know? I thought someone here had it, but I can't remember her name. majolicajones <margiehoran@...> wrote: > > > > So, did alot of woman in the support group have pain in their> breasts? Guest guest
Lea (who's been absent lately while she moves into a new home) has MGUS . . . She knows quite a number of other implant women who have it also. It's a precursor to Multiple Myeloma . . . However, not everyone with MGUS progresses to Multiple Myeloma. IMHO, if you get cleaned out, and detox thoroughly you've got a good chance of avoiding MM. Guest guest
Margie, The list of symptoms is very, very long! . . . Pain in the breasts is only part of the picture. I'll leave it to the ladies here to tell you about their own experiences . . . I had hearing loss, fibromyalgia, scleroderma, IBS, joint pain, Multiple chemical sensitivity, depression, fatigue, cognitive problems - to name a few! Guest guest
Margie, I found my implants to be extremely uncomfortable - but the reason I had them removed was because my lymph nodes swelled up, my joints swelled up, my fingers and toes got numb, I got daily headaches, brain fog, dizziness, muscle aches, etc. I didn't like the way I looked with a big chest, but my reasoning was mainly because of a quick decline in my health. Guest guest
Margie, There was someone who had posted here a few months ago who had been diagnosed with MGUS. I haven't seen her post in a while, though. Sis > > > > So, did alot of woman in the support group have pain in their > breasts?
