Guest guest
Cherie, You really have it bad! . . . You shouldn't get slits in your fingers - even with gloves. I know you're using environmental products, so you really have a challenge! I'd suggest finding cleaning tools with handles. . . I have a mop bucket that has a device on top it that allows me to wring a round mop without touching water .. . . There must be other tools on that order. The Miracle II line of products has some products they promise to be safe. . . I haven't used them though. Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Rogene I think it is actually the gloves that I am reacting to, because I never touched the water or cleanser. Wonder if there's anything in the rubber gloves that is also in implants? I like the brush with a handle - I never even thought of that! Thanks! Guest guest
Cherie, You're probably also sensitive to the chemicals in the rubber gloves. A friend of mine sells products from this company called Young Living, and she said they have a household cleaning product called " Thieves " . I haven't tried it yet, but I'm looking for alternatives to the household cleansers I currently use because I figure it's a catch 22 - the cleanser bothers me and the gloves bother me. I don't have the patience to mix up my own cleaning products, but if I could purchase something that's non-toxic that would be great. Also, I buy Simple Green - it says it's non-toxic, but it doesn't say what it's made of, so I'm still kind of leery of it. Guest guest
Cherie I would highly recommend using the Miracle 2 products to clean. I use them and love them and they are actually good for your skin as they contain no chemicals at all. I actually clean everything with them and I mean everything. I also use them for shampoo and use the neutralizer for deorderant along with a crystal and I use their laundry ball instead of laundry detergent. I have effectively eliminated 90% of chemicals in my house. Bathing in the miracle 2 soap is supposed to be detoxifying too. I never need to wear gloves. Just a thought. Guest guest
Hi sis you posted about simple green i just look it up.It says nontoxic but it really is not. It has butoxyethanol which is highy toxic synthetic solvent and grease cutter that can irratate mucous membranes and cause liver damage. It is readily absorbed through the skin and is neurotoxic. My father in law use to clean a 5 star hotel with just vinegar. sometime straight vinegar or mixed with water . I use half vinegar and half water and sometimes put 20 drops of tea tree oil. It makes the vinegar smell go away. It very easy to make and take no time at all. Ive heard alot of great things about miracle products.Ive used earthy friendly products and seventh generation and you can order on www.amazon.com if you order $25 of seventh generation products you get free shipping and no tax. seventh generation has laundry soap ,dish soap, diapers, even panty liners, pads and tampons, and much much more. The one thing that is great about all these products no gloves and wont burn your hands. I like vinegar the best its cheap. I know some people dont like the smell of vinegar but if you put 20 or 30 drop of essential oil it make it smell great! I use to use young living oil when i did massages great stuff.WE used for raindrop therapy.great for detoxing the body. i would use all the time with massage and facial. hope this helps god bless michele > > > > In trying to protect myself when I clean the house, I bought rubber > > gloves to wear. Guest guest
Lynda, this is so funny, we do get braver as we get older. Yesterday, when we went to my doctor for my B12 shot, I told my him that my thyroid medication was too low. Then, I asked if he would do some further testing, the other doctors were standing there listening to me giving orders. My doctor wrote up the request, and handed it to me, and asked if that was what I wanted...while tapping his fingers on the counter. I told him that when he taps his fingers that he is telling me something. He has asked me to teach these new doctors to listen to their patients. I asked him about vitamins, because I had told him that I felt better when I was taking a multi-vitamin, Vitamin E, and large doses of Vitamin C. He looked at the other doctors, and told them to answer my question, and then he told them that Lea has given you all the answer 4 times. Then they all agreed, that I should be on some vitamin support. This is always fun for me, and for him! Love you sweetie...Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``` Rubber Gloves >>Next time you use a pair of rubber gloves, you're going to smile >when you think of this:>>A dentist noticed that his next patient, a little old lady, was>Nervous so he decided to tell her a little joke as he put on his>Gloves.>>'Do you know how they make these gloves?' he asked.>>'No, I don't,' she replied.>>'Well,' he spoofed, 'there's a building in Canada with a big tank>Of latex and workers of all hand sizes walk up to the tank, dip in>Their hands, let them dry, then peel off the gloves and throw them>Into boxes of the right size.'>>She didn't crack a smile.>>>'Oh, well.
