Guest guest
Hi, I am sure I have alot to learn an understand about explant. I have just decided to take that option I believe is the only one I have. What do you mean by detox? How bad is it? That means that after the explant I will still feel bad? When the surgery is done (explant) is an inmediate LIFT needed? I need to understand to be able to do the right thing an not having to go through surgery once more. Pleas help me with my questions. Thank you. Regards, Roxanamkkinzy1 <mkkinzy@...> wrote: Hi,I am trying to detox, but not really sure where I should start. I feel very overwhelmed with all the information that is available. I am using natural skincare products and switched majority of our cleaning products to non-toxic products. I take a bath almost every day alternating between epsom, epsom ginger, and vinegar. I read the "praise" post yesterday and actually took 1 Tablespoon of vinegar mixed with juice yesterday and again today. I don't have a good stomach when it comes to drinking things. I know a lot of it is mind over matter. I try. I think a lot of it stems from when I was younger and had active Crohn's disease. I went thru sooo many tests and had to drink LOTS of gross things. Even thinking about it makes me gag. I am waiting for my sauna. It should be here sometime next week, so I am hopeful. If anyone has any advice for me I would appreciate it. I like the idea of the vinegar, but not sure I can stomach it.Hugs, MKOpinions expressed are NOT meant to take the place of advice given by licensed health care professionals. Guest guest
Roxana, Detoxing is what you do to get the toxins out of your body . . . whether they got there because of breast implants or other environmental causes. . . There are lots of detox methods . . . you have to pick and chose what works for you. . . We have a number in the files sections . . . and the ladies here have tried many methods themselves. . . Some are very inexpensive, some expensive. When we talk about someone feeling bad when they're detoxing, we're talking about herxing . . . One herxes as toxins are set loose and try to work their way out of your body. . . If you were to go to a detox center, they would use faster methods than we usually recommend because it would be done in a supervised setting. When you're doing it on your own, we suggest starting slowly to see how you feel and gradually increase the frequency/duration/supplement. The trick is to manage the herxes so you can still function but they don't become a deterrent to detoxing. It's not really as complicated as it sounds . . . It just takes time and discipline! Don't let it scare you! Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
Marcy, It sounds like you're doing really well . . . It's quite an undertaking to change so many things - and way of doing things. . . Don't stress so much. Personally, I trust that I will feel drawn to things that I need and repelled by those I don't need . . . That's not to say that I won't flip-flop later. . . No one can begin to tell you exactly what you need. . . We can only tell you what works for us. You will have to figure your own program out for yourself. My analogy is that we're all born with an empty glass (some get larger glasses than others) . . . as we journey through life, the glass begins to fill little by little . . . eventually, as it gets close to filling, it splashes a bit (symtoms start) . . . then it trickles over . . . and finally pours over (full blown sick). The goal of detoxing is to lower the level in your glass so you won't experience symtoms. In this toxic environment, the glass will keep getting stuff in it - but if you keep detoxing, you can keep things under control. The fact that you had active Crohn's disease should have been a good indication to your surgeon that you should never have gotten breast implants! . . . I'll bet your plastic surgeon never took a comprehensive health history from you though! Hugs, Rogene
