Guest guest
Ginger, I think we all get down at times . . . Since it really hasn't been that long since your explant, I'd suggest getting a swim suit that can be adapted to hide what isn't there, and add to what is. I know the American Cancer Society has some excellent suits in their catalogue . . . They're definitely on the coverup side (no bikini's) . . . but, there are times time when a little mystery is sexier than showing all. You're going to be filling out for some time yet! Guest guest
Thanks for your encouragement, Rogene. You are such a dear! How long do you think it takes to fluff? Dr. M said a year. I haven't seen much of a difference in the last 2 months. I hope you are feeling okay! thanks again! Guest guest
Ginger . . . We're all different, so I really can't say. I do think that one year is realistic. I've heard from the outset that (good) doctors have told women that they would realize they didn't need a lift if they would just give themselves a year to heal. I'm doing pretty good . . . Still not liking the medication I'm taking. . . I seriously doubt that I will continue it past the three month mark - If I make it that long! One day at a time! Actually I skipped the medication today! . . . :-)) Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
HI Ginger, It is easy to feel down at this time of year, and trying on swim suits can be a real depressing experience. I found that using breast enhancers has helped me, and I've altered some of my swim suits to be more padded, and there are some very wonderful swim suits available through the net that have gel padding already in them. They are gorgeous, and yes, carry a nice price tag too. I can't remember the name of the company, but if I think of it I will post it. The other important area to work on is the internal appreciation of self, and that is vital. God loves you just the way you are....you are a beautiful person. It is important for us to realize that God looks on the heart, not the outward appearance, and what we think of each other has absolutely no bearing on our eternal destiny. It all takes much prayer and reflection, but I can testify that it is what will endure to the end! I haven't posted in a while and after the day I have had, I need to check in with all of you more often. Because the weather has gotten extremely warm over the past week, I have been having a tough time with swim suits and the more revealing clothing of summer. For the first time since my explant, I am feeling insecure. My boobs are very uneven. It is such a let down after spending over $13,000. I'm going to e-mail Dr. M and see if there is any type of lift he can do to even them out. Has anyone encountered this problem after explant? Also, I have developed arthritis in my 2 index fingers and am still itching, after trying to detox and taking 2 rounds of fungal defense. I thank God for my good days and am truly trying to be happy with his creation (me), but still I struggle, especially being around my friends that still have them and feel fine. Does anyone else ever get down? I don't want to sound like a whiney hiney, but it has been a tough day. Thanks for listening,Ginger Talk is cheap. Use Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls.
