Guest guest
It's hard to say if waiting would be a bad thing. Personally, I feel that, once one makes the implant connection, the sooner they remove their implants, the better. has had good luck in putting her symptoms into remission . . . Honestly, I think she's the FIRST woman we've seen who has been able to do so. Think of it this way . . . If being exposed to something one is allergic to increases sensitivity, why wait? If you have dangerous organisms growing in your implants, why wait? If your implants are deteriorating to the point of collapse, why wait? If you do remove them now, you could be feeling good by the time your vacation comes . . . Or, you could still have them and be sicker . . . There really is no way of knowing for sure! Guest guest
I wish there was some way to guarantee you something . .. . but we can't! . . . You'll have to be the judge of how much you can handle. It's possible you'll be well enough to go to the beach (with or without implants) - and also possible you'll be too sick to go on vacation! All to often our women are desperate to get them out by the time their appointment comes! might be able to help you stay on top of the symptoms until after vacation. She's been doing amazingly well. Guest guest
Another thing in my case I am feelinf better eventhough I still have my implants. They are not colapsing or anythingh like that my Doctor (Reumatologist) has ask me for some time to be sure that the implants have caused me the Reumatoide Arthiris because I am getting better with my threatment. What does this mean? I don't know what to do? I have had them for almost 10 months. Guest guest
Roxana, What type of medication are you taking? . . . Some medications will make you feel better, but just mask the symptoms while the damage continues. Steriods are a prime example. I don't know of anyone who can tell you for sure whether it's your implants or not! Not even your doctor. Guest guest
Roxana, It is your choice on whether or not to remove your implants at this point if you are feeling better with treatment. What I would caution you about is your future....what does the future hold for you if you are sick from your implants and going through treatment now. Are you willing to go through a lifetime of drugs to be able to hang on to your implants? Some women are, but the end result will be the same....eventually they will have to make a decision to remove the implants as they rupture, leak, or make them even sicker. You do have a chance of getting off all medications and getting your health back the way it was before to a large degree by removing the implants and letting your body heal. This is, in my opinion, the best avenue to take. It doesn't seem worth it to have implants for a period of time, knowing they are ticking time bombs in your chest, not knowing when they are going to set off terrible chain reactions in your immune system that will eventually cause your health to crash. It happens to many, many women--- too many to count, and too tragic to contemplate as they struggle to get through life. None of us can tell you what to do, but we can point out some ideas that you will have to grapple with regarding the future. Many women take a short term view of the implants, and make decisions regarding them based on what they are comfortable dealing with right now. But the best way to make a decision is to look at the long term view, and realize that implants are just dangerous devices that can eventually rob you of everything in life that you hold dear...and that the risks are just not worth the cost. They are deceptively marketed because they are NOT SAFE to many women. I wish you the best in your decision.
