Guest guest
Really ? When I went to have my implants removed the PS said one breast is smaller it never was till I had that capsulltomy 6 months before having removed I think the other PS removed to much tissue when he removed the scar tissue...so you still think it will grow back ? It's not a BIG difference but wasn't ever like that before implants or with till I had the capsultomy.
Guest guest
-, this is what I am struggling with too, I am so happy to have them out and feeling better and don't want to obsess over what is small potatoes (LOL) at this point so having said that....now I can whine a bit. My PS did a great job with what must be very difficult. But I had just had a lift (2nd one) in August after a terrible lift the year before, and one areoloa was lifted a bit higher. The PS this last time really did not plan on a lift as he said to wait a bit, but he went ahead and did a little and it turned out better than he thought so I will likely leave them alone. Now the whining, one is still a little higher that the other and underneath one has a dent and one has too much skin. I am going in on Tuesday and will ask if this will change, so I will ask him about the tissue thing (the dent looks like it is missing tissue too?). Weird, when I had the lift I had two huge parts separate around the areola and you would never know it now, the tissue grew back, amazing. So not that I answered your question but I will ask. Guest guest
, Rember I just had to have another surgery only on one side to remove residual capsule. The left was smaller than the right, it has been six months it finally has caught up, Terri P > > Does breast tissue grow back? Guest guest
, I experienced the same thing . . . The smaller breast is the one that had contracture. . . I've always felt that the materials from the implant destroyed some tissue. However, the doctor did a good job of making them look the same. . . I can tell because of the weight difference. Guest guest
Nan . . . You should be "fluffing" up to a year after being explanted. It's too early to be concerned about any dents or irregularities! Rogene
Guest guest
's were slightly out of balance right after explant (5/25/06) and mini lift, but they seem to have leveled out and are fluffing nicely. She says she is " still happy to be rid of the big babes " and really pleased with her " little girls " . ;-) I think breasts are like the rest of our body - - not exactly the same on both sides.
