Any thoughts on chelation?

Can someone share their experiences on chelation (positive or negative)?

I have a 3 year old who is delayed about 11 months. She did not have elevated levels of mercury and lead before we started biomedical. However, after starting an anti fungal, her urine poryphorine test is showing high levels of lead.

Any thoughts on this and your own experiences on chelation? I am totally confused about persuing chelation.
