Guest guest
Sorry I couldn't finish earlier, but where I was going with that whole thing with " Sauna Girl " is that I think there may be some correlation between the funky smell and the MRSA. I've thought about it extensively, and as I recall, the funk showed up and shortly after that the skin lesions did. My concern was for Sauna Girl to be proactive in this... If there is a way for you to avoid these things, then I want to help as much as I can. What I would like for you to do, is get a bottle of something called " Hibiclens " it's what we use when we scrub in before a surgery. Anyway, it should be in any pharmacy but most likely behind the counter. No prescription needed. It can be used as a body wash. I'm saying this because it's an antimicrobial/antiseptic. Anythi on your skin (i.e.funk)will go down the drain. Hon, I'm only telling you this as a woman. I don't want you to end up with skin like mine. If it turns out you cannot find it, please let me know and I will send some right out to you... Christene
Guest guest
I think my new ID should be " sauna girl " - that's funny! Thank you Christene for your concern. I had the smell the first time, but haven't noticed anything too unusual since then. After the sauna, I have been scrubbing my skin with a brush and natural soap. I will look into getting some Hibiclens - would like to have that in the house anyway. I called Dr. Leu today, on my husband's request, to let him know how I have been feeling, but he isaway until Monday. I'm encouraged tonight though, feeling a lot better. Thank you again Christene, God Bless you, Cherie > > Sorry I couldn't finish earlier, but where I was going with that whole thing with " Sauna Girl " is that I think there may be some correlation > between the funky smell and the MRSA. Guest guest
Our family uses the Hibiclens, I asked at the pharmacy at Walmart and they hooked me right up with some. It was behind the counter, but available without a prescription. It works GREAT on MRSA. But do be careful, it can be drying for some people. ~ SKIN DISASTER Sorry I couldn't finish earlier, but where I was going with that whole thing with "Sauna Girl" is that I think there may be some correlationbetween the funky smell and the MRSA. Guest guest
Hehehe... Better to be Sauna girl than Funky Smelling Girl! or even Skin Disaster girl! Beware though...the funk started out slow for me too. Honestly I think I'm the only one that can smell it, but that's one too many... What you're smelling could very well be " toxins " that's what I originally thought about my own funk )However, in my case I believe it is a combo of the toxins and infection. I'd honestly rather you try the Hibiclens instead of risking it and ending up as a skin disaster like me! And this one I'll stake my license on! Because if it meant that you didn't end up with scars all ove your body, it would be worth it to me...
