Guest guest
Wow - that's quite a bit more than what we do. Is it helping him?To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Saturday, December 20, 2008 10:13:51 AMSubject: Re: Dosing Diflucan/Fluconazole Help My 11 yr old son weighs about 110 pounds and gets 400 mgs of fluconazole once per day. From: Marisa Vogel <marisavogel@ yahoo.com>Subject: Dosing Diflucan/Fluconazol e HelpTo: mb12 valtrex@ yahoogroups. comDate: Saturday, December 20, 2008, 9:59 AM We are wondering if our 7 year old, 53 lb. son is getting a low or an accurate dose of Diflucan (it's actually Fluconazole, which is the same thing). He gets 40 mg 2 times a day. We know is yeast is way out of whack, so is this a time when more is better? Would it be a good idea to double the dose to 80 mg 2 times a day? I will not hold anyone responsible for this advice, as I hold myself responsible for my son's health. I am just looking for someone who has a child my son's age & size to share their dose of Diflucan & if it's working for them. Thanks in advance. Guest guest
My son has been on and off diflucan for years. We now pulse with it. We use the diflucan for about one week per month and then try to use naturals the rest of the month. Guest guest
are you also using diet to treat. if you are eating carbs and sugars and not focusing on meats and veggies you will just make new yeast to take the place of old yeast and not move any ground Recovering from Autism is a marathonNOT a sprint, but FULLY possible!Read more about it on my BLOGs athttp://www.myspace.com/christelkinghttp://foggyrock.com/MyPage/recoveringwisheshttp://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=677063169 Re: Dosing Diflucan/Fluconazole Help - thanks . . . There seems to be a lot of differences of opinion. My 40 lb son was rx'd 50mg/day by one doctor, and 100mg/day by another DAN! doctor who said to compare with 200mg/day to see which is more effective! We didn't ever go beyond 100mg/day, but I think his yeast is resistant to Diflucan because it doesn't seem to be working well for us anymore.PJ No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG - http://www.avg.com Version: 8.0.176 / Virus Database: 270.10.1/1868 - Release Date: 12/29/2008 10:48 AM
