Guest guest
Hi Stacie, If you are too alkaline, that would be really easy to fix! Just eat more acid forming foods from the list, such as meats, processed dairy, eggs and grains . The tendency in our modern world is to lean toward the acid side, so it is unusual to be on the alkaline side, but I am sure it does happen. What leads you to believe that you are? According to the article posted in our files section, if your pH is too alkaline, your ability to digest proteins may be impaired, or you may not be eating enough protein. You may want to add some digestive enzymes to your daily diet to ensure that you are breaking down the proteins properly, or if you are not eating meat, to make sure you are getting enough protein from things like lentils or beans. I taped a list of alkaline foods and acid foods to my pantry door to help me choose wisely. Keep a copy of the list handy and refer to it when making food choices. You should eventually find yourself at the right pH balance, if you focus on a diet that balances 80% alkaline foods with 20% acid foods.
