this weekend..

was terrible because it rained all weekend, and my pain levels were

skyhigh and the humidity gave me a headache. So with both of them I

wanted to go to bed and stay there. Even though I was in pain, I still

did our weekly shopping. I'm a member of the Grocery Game and they show

you how to use coupons and instore sales to save money on your

groceries. Today I saved 70 dollars so that wasnt bad but I had to lug

around the cart and my knees are screaming their familiar pain song,

lol. Then our garbage disposal gave out and hubby had to go to Home

Depot to get another one which put us back 169.oo that we hadnt

budgeted. At least he was able to install it himself which saved us

money. I am cooking dinner tonight which should make my hubby happy as

he likes a home cooked meal. Someone gave me a recipe for balsamic

chicken that sounds delish. Well thats about it for me except for

freaking out about my doctors appt on the 29th. I hate having my weight

taken cuz I always get a lecture, then I get a lecture about taking

pain meds even though he doesnt prescribe them! Anyway I hope everyone

has had a great weekend and low pain levels.

Hi Keliz

Hugs, I'm sorry you've been in so much pain all weekend. But it sure sounds like

you had a productive weekend despite your pain. I just hope you didn't over do

and caused your pain to hang around longer. We always tend to do that.

My pain hasn't been so bad since the flare I was in for 3 wks lifted. Just the

normal mild pain now. However, today was more painful than yesterday. I had some

accomplishments yesterday and boy did it feel GREAT! I rarely can do any kind of

house work. I'm so limited anymore with my lungs as they are and my pain and

weakness. I managed to clean the kitchen yesterday, clean my tables in the

livingroom, gather all the trash in the house, emptied all the cans and I have

one in every room. lol And washed all my doilies. This was a MAJOR

accomplishment for me as I said, I hardly EVER can do anything around the house.

I just maintain and that's it. I do have an Aide 16 hrs a week, but she missed 2

days last week. Anyway, it felt great being able to do some things. The boys had

at least 10 partially empty drink cans and cups in the livingroom and I even

picked all of that up. So, today my pain is worse than yesterday. I've had to

take meds twice today instead of just once as it was yesterday.

I hope your Monday starts out with low/no pain. Although, we know you'll pay for

all you did today Try to rest after dinner, get a good nights sleep and maybe

it won't be so bad tomorrow. I hope the rain lifts for you too soon. We've had

rain and chances of rain for the past week and still for the week ahead of us.

I'm surprised it isn't affecting me more than it is.
