Guest guest
Hi Ladies, I am preparing for explant in a month or so. But I am concerned about scarring and sagging because my skin is extremley thin due to endocrine/adrenal problems. I was wondering if anyone has ever used collagen repair supplements. If so, which one and how well does it work? Dr. Kolb suggested Calorad which has Bovine Collagen Hydrolysate in it. But this product also claims to help aid in weight loss, which I don't need. Another product I saw on TV is called Rejuva. It is made with Bio- Collagen (I think chicken cartliage), B-vitamins, antioxidants, etc. They claim it can help reduce the appearance of fine lines, nourish skin, hair, and nails, etc.....money back guarentee. I don't know which " collagen " is best. I'm sure the vitamins in Rejuva help, but I don't want to blow my money on it if it all a waste of time. Realistically, I don't think their is anything I can do. Once collagen and elastin break down it's gone forever. If these things really worked, none of us would look our ages. Maybe it's best to just load up on Vitamin-E.
