Guest guest
Donna, I just read your letter to the doctor - actually I've had more symptoms than I put in my post to you - and they are almost all the same as yours. Sometimes my fingers would look blue and my veins would be throbbing, too. Sis > > Sis, > > We sound like twins I got my Saline BA on feb 2005 soon after I suspected > something was wrong. Guest guest
Donna, There is a lot you can do to feel better even before getting your implants out . . . and, even if you don't feel a lot better, you should begin feeling better following your explant. First and foremost - get your diet in order. NO sugar! .. . . no refined grains (whole grains are OK) . . . Organic food is best . . . The Maker's Diet is a wonderful guide! It may be hard to make an abrupt switch - especially when you're feeling so bad, but it's doable if you'll take one step at a time! . . . Check out the detox programs . . . Soaking in an Epsom salt bath on a regular basis will help draw the toxins from your tissues. . . . Oil of Oregano will help kill off toxins . . . So will raw, crushed, fresh garlic! . .. . massages are excellent . . . If you can get your SO motivated to do the massages, you're blessed! . . . gentle exercise . . . drink 1/2 ounce of non-chlorinated water per pound of body weight daily. .. . Remove as many chemicals as possible from your environment. . . perfumes, cleaning products, chlorine, etc. . . Some of the ladies have excellent tips for alternative products . . . some are really cheap too! Try to get a good nights sleep every night! . . . Taking a calcium/magnesium supplement before bedtime will help. I like Sleepy Time tea. . . I've started sleeping with a night mask so I don't wake up at first light since I'm, by nature, a night owl. Almost all the women we've seen have a systemic yeast/fungal problem. . . This alone can cause all sorts of problems. I'd recommend Garden of Life's Fungal Defense (one bottle) followed by Primal Defense indefinitely. . . You start both with one capsule, and increase by one capsule a day until you're taking eight capsules (four morning and four night). There are sooooooo many things you can do to start healing . . . no need to wait until the 22nd. . . Dr. Kolb has a protocol that has helped many women too! Guest guest
It's so important to present yourselves without any style that can be interpreted as histrionics because the medical community at large genuinely feels suspect that much of what we claim is invalid. So, in presenting ourselves, it's essential to understate rather than to overstate. Please know that many of your symptoms listed below are also associated with menopause alone such as brain fog, depression, weight gain, insomnia, restless leg symdrome (this is caused by lower iron levels that are seen during menses and menopause), migraines and night sweats. Some or all of these will resolve post menopause. So, the best way to sound credible is to be clear when stating our symptoms that we realize that some symptoms may be incidental and unrelated to our implants. This approach will get us taken much more seriously. Guest guest
We are twins I have most of the same symptoms. OMG this is devastating, I went to my PS numerous times he told me nothing. I wish he would have told me early so I wasn't so sick. Thanks for the support!! Donna
Guest guest
I honestly was believing it was not my implants, after reading support sites I am convinced. I am going to get mine removed to see if I get well. If I get well then I will know, I have had my implants for a year and 3 months. I am hoping that I have not had them long enough to not get well after ex plant. I was listening to the doctors following there orders, and it only makes me sicker. I know exactly what is wrong with me, I know my body. I hope that by getting them removed I will be well again. I was so healthy before implants. I guess what I am saying is that I listened to DR's, ER's and PS opinions, I was failed. I can only pray that I get well after ex plant, hell with the rest. Thanks, Donna

Guest guest
A friend, whose husband is a retired drug company vice president, told me that the stated goal of the company is to get everyone on drugs from birth to grave. . . . Anyone who thinks these businesses have OUR interest in mind needs to rethink things seriously! . . . Everyone really has to take responsibility for their own health . . . If something doesn't feel right, sound right, check it out for yourself! . . . Don't automatically believe anyone who stands to gain from you. IMHO, if you'll turn yourself over to God and trust him to guide you, you'll find that you have an inner voice that tells you what you need, when you need it. It's truely amazing! Guest guest
Donna, I think you'll find that you'll start feeling better (even though you are still sick) now that you understand WHY you are sick! . . . Not knowing what's going on and feeling like you're going downhill to death is horrible! . . . Especially when doctors deny your illness! Is it any wonder that implanted women have several times the suicide rate than other plastic surgery patients? If you're like all the other women we see, you're going to get your life back again! . . . There's much to celebrate! . . . So don't stress over everything now. Stress is a major contributor to illness. Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Donna, You have a great chance at getting better...the same chances as the rest of us, and so many of the women on this group go on to get better and live again! If you do your homework, go the extra mile to detox and take care of your body's need to purge toxins, you will see gradual improvements over time. It does take a long time to heal for some women (it took me 4 years), so be patient, but also be tenacious and don't be alarmed at the roller coaster ride you will be on. There are often good days followed by bad days and it goes on and on for awhile. But as you look back on your healing progress, you will see a slow, steady gain. You are taking all the right steps! Best wishes on your upcoming explant! PattyBSBanshee1@... wrote: I honestly was believing it was not my implants, after reading support sites I am convinced. Guest guest
Hi Donna, I am so glad to hear that you have a BF who is able to help you out. It sounds like he has had some very tragic things to deal with himself, and I am so sorry for him. This will be a difficult period, but your future looks brighter knowing you can heal. His son's loss will be harder to deal with, but hopefully your renewed health will be a new beginning for both of you. I had alot of these symptoms, and they are all gone! So be hopeful! I also went to his office today to get my records and I ask his secretary of 5 years if she had the FDA pamphlet? She said What I dont know what that is? I was mad... I dont think they will admit anything so who would u sue? I don't have insurance. Lucky my BF has decent credit gonna finance my surgery and the expense for this. Guest guest
--- HI Rogene! thank you so much for your kind words! I will always have a home here. this is where I learned why I was sick... so I consider all you ladies and gals my angels from above.... If I would of listened to MD.s and surgeons I would of been in an insane asylym..... I seem to be managed w/meds. I tried for six months to a year to try not to take pain meds, or anti convulsants, but to no avail, my body will not function if I do not mask or control the symptoms. this illness we all have is very sneaky, and as I am almost finished w/my RN degree... the medical community is extremely ignorant to it... Ive talked to professors and people w/all sorts of degrees... it is not studied enough.... and the medical fied is not informed. there are MD/s who believe but of course I am generalizing... my hormones have seemed to calm down abit.. eating the same diet,, I have slowly but surely dropped over 50 lbs. so my body is trying to get to normal... but I still deal w/ soooo many things... some days cant get up/some days cant move joints/some days depressed extremely..... I still get photosensitivity, lupus like rashes, but not as often. I still take alot of supplements, but cannot afford them as a RN student. I miss you all. and now its summer so i can gab again... please give me some input and helpful hints.. here in PHX its so hot that it drains my energy, still sensitive to temps hot/cold. write back. Guest guest
Oh Iggy . . . I just sent a message asking if it was you! I'm thrilled for you that you're back in school and will get your RN! . . . You are going to be able to educate a lot of medical professionals along the way! I heard on the news today that you're getting 120 degree temps! . .. That's too hot for anyone! I would be dragging Big Time! There are some things we've been discussing that I don't think we knew about when you were with us. . . "The Maker's Diet" is outstanding. One of our ladies is following the diet online - with support, recipes, etc. She reports that she's feeling much better and the food is delicious. Also, check out "Ionic Foot Baths" . . . I recommend the one on www.ionicoasis.com . . . Their website is very informative. But if you decide to get one, order the same foot baths on ebay. They will accept an "Offer" of $225 for their best model. . . Dr. Kolb has been using them on some of her patients. Those who continued using them after they got home have progressed quite rapidly. . . I love mine! . .. But you should see the stuff that comes out. There are pictures of my first foot bath, along with pictures of others in the photo archives. We're leaving on vacation in the a.m. . . gotta get to bed! Guest guest
---Hi DeDe, thanks! MY MOM'S nickname when she was a kid was Iggy, named after some old cartoon girl that looked like her; my Mom passed away from a 16 year battle w/Alzheimers disease, and after she passed I took her nickname and added angel, as she is my angel. I graduate May'08, yea!!!!I had my implants from 1999 to 2004; I may suffer from alot of symptoms lately, but I am thankful, cuz they use to be much much worse... SO I thank GOd for each day. I know the heat is really hurting me out here, cuz I was much better before summer started here in PHX. Im thankful I can work and go to school... but after the school or work, I will sleep a good 12-14 hours to heal my body... which I despise... but i have no choice. thanks De de God bless, Iggy In , DGRAHAMA@... wrote: > > Iggyangel ~ > I love your user name........My sister lives in phoenix. Guest guest
Hi Iggy, It's nice to see you joining us again, though I am sorry to hear you are still dealing with some issues that have been long-standing. You should be able to get over these symptoms in time. We've found that those who do not rely on prescription drugs seem to do the best. Supplements are good, but if they are of poor quality they can do more damage than good. I found that I had to curtail my large variety of supplements in favor of a few superior quality ones. Have you been tested for thyroid and adrenal issues? I think hormonal imbalances are a huge factor in our illness. As I've done research, it seems to me that one of the most neglected areas of treatment for us lie within the area of adrenal fatigue. Thyroid and adrenal function are very closely related. A good website to check out is www.stopthethyroidmadness.com. I know there is alot of reading, so if I can help put it in a nutshell for you, I will. But with your RN degree, you will be able to see what is happening in modern medicine and the problems these girls on that site have addressed regarding test interpretations. I'm currently treating for both thyroid and adrenal issues and it has made a huge difference! I hope we can help you get back to full speed soon!
