Hi Sasha,

Sounds like the symptoms we hear about all the time, and most of us

have had many of these symptoms and some other symptoms also. Where are you?

Many women do not have symptoms for up to 7 years, but some have them

very soon. It is individual.

Hi Sasha,

Welcome to ! . . . You've found women who

understand!

You sound like so many women who come to the group . .

.. However, if it's your implants that are causing your

problems, hair loss is minor compared to some issues .

.. .

Please read through old messages - especially those

from new women coming to the group . . . then read

through the archived files. We have sooooooooo much

information that's it's hard to tell you where to

start.

The one thing that's notable about implanted women is

that their tests usually come back NORMAL! . . .

Regardless of how sick they are. (There are exceptions

among women who had their implants a long time) . . .

Running around collecting diagnoses really works

against you when it comes to getting private

insurance. . .

My suggestion is to get your implants properly removed

(en bloc), then wait a year before considering any

health issues need addressing - Unless, of course, you

have a critical need.

We've found that women get better on a regular basis .

.. . Some much faster than others . . . Usually it

requires that you adopt a very healthy eating program,

plus use detox programs.

My suggestion? Take a deep breath! . . . Quit

stressing (hard to do, but necessary), and start

working on your plans.

If you have any questions, ask away! . . . This group

is incredible!

Hugs and prayers,

Rogene

Thanks so much for your responses. I don't know if i'm doing this

right... but i'm sending this to both people who emailed me.

You are right... hair loss is minor compared to some of the other

symptoms. I live in NJ, by the way. I've called 2 doctors so far

to inquire about removal. The dr. in NY (Skolnik) was more

expensive... approximately $13,000 (includes the breast lift)if i

heard them right.

Dr Feng's office... in Ohio quoted me $7000 (w/o lift) & $11,000

(w/lift).... i've read very good things about her but hate the

thought of traveling so far. The cost (i guess anywhere?) is

significant to say the least but worth it if it improves my

health... & if i go thru w/ this, i want to make sure i go to a good

dr.

Thanks again... i'll try not to stress!

Knowledge is power... but i wish i learned more about

supposedly " safe " saline implants before i had them put in.

If anyone has a comment on the possibility of the silicone shells

sucking moisture out of the body (like those little things in the

pill bottles, do)... I would be intereseted in hearing it.

I am considering seeing a rheumatologist to r/o other things... but

i am really questioning these implants.

Hi Sasha,

I live in New Jersey, too, and traveled to Ohio for surgery with Dr.

Feng. She did a good job on me, and I didn't need a lift. I wanted

her to do it rather than my original plastic surgeon, who would have

charged me about $2500 for explant, because I wanted it done right.

I knew she would take the capsules out and she would be careful not

to spill the contents of the implant into my body. She did a great

job, too. If you want to see my pictures, go to the menu on the

left and click on links, then continue clicking the top link until

you get to the login screen - and the password is " implants " . I'm

not trying to convince you to use her, just thought it might help to

hear from patients of certain doctors so you can decide what you

want to do.

P.S. If we aren't that far from one another, I'd be happy to meet up

with you sometime.

Sasha,

I think you are taking a wise approach to this. As to thyroid, has your doctor

checked

thyroid antibodies, not just the TSH, free T3 or T4? With early onset of

Hashimoto's

thyroiditis, sometimes the routine tests are normal, but your antibodies will

not be.

Not all symptoms can be blamed on implants, of course. The problem is that many

of

these problems can be symptoms of a whole variety of illnesses or conditions --

even

menopause, although you are a little young for that.

It is smart to check these things out, in my opinion. If you have some

unrelated medical

problem, you need to find out so it can be treated properly. On the other hand,

if tests

come back normal or if you find an autoimmune problem, you may want to consider

your

implants.

I absolutely believe that implants, including saline implants, can cause these

kinds of

problems.

--- Hi, Sasha and welcome to the group! :) I've had implants for 20

years and just discovered last year why I'm so sick! I have all the

symptoms you mentioned and more. Except the hair loss...my hair is

very thick and stubborn. Maybe it's too stubborn to fall out! lol

There's a list of symptoms of silicone toxicity on the net - just

type in Symptoms of Silicone Poisoning and it will come up for your

perusal.

Again, welcome and if I can help in any way, let me know!

Love 'n Peace,

Sunny :)

Sasha, It really sounds like all the common implant complaints that we have seen over and over again. I am glad you discovered this group too. I hope you can find the answers you need. I suggest removal of the implants to get your health back. And that means the proper removal...with the implant removed as well as the scar tissue, and the use of drains is recommended as well. The hair loss is a difficult symptom that many women have dealt with, but not so successfully. Some women seem to recover somewhat, but some have continued to deal with bouts of hair loss. It is hard to discover if it is heavy metal toxicity, reproductive hormones, metabolic hormones, mineral deficiencies, essential fatty acids deficiencies????? It can be a very complex issue. You might have to experiment with different supplements, or go

through some testsing to find out what is off. Anyway, you are on a long journey back to health at this point. Take one day at a time, read what you can, and get a plan of action in place. First will be removal of implants correctly, and then you can focus on detoxification and supplementation. Hope this helps, Pattysasha7166 <sunmoonsasha@...> wrote: Hi Everyone! Sasha,

I also have every symptom you have to the tee. I also have others tingling in hands and feet, stiff neck, pains in joints, sinus, irritable bowel, sick all the time, low grade fever daily, my tongue feels thick always. I know that this is my breast implants, I got symptoms shortly after my BA, but I have been told I am nuts by doctors, laughed at etc. I would strongly suggest getting them removed with en-bloc procedure.
