Guest guest
Dear Family and Friends, Just thought I'd give everyone a little update. We are still in Atlanta. I had a slight infection where they took out a lymphnode plus I am still draining too much. Drainage has to be down to 20 cc a day and I am stil at 50cc. So I will see the doctor on Monday. On Wednesday I am seeing a Neurologist. Dr Kolb wants me to do this for my Dow Corning Claimant Suit. Pathology report came back that I'm cancer free including the node. Bad part is that the capsules around the implants were full of silicone. Which means that my original implants probably had a leak or rupture. I'm going to request from the hospital in sdale the pathology report on my implants but chances are high that Dr. Leighton distroyed the evidence because he told me that he couldn't save them for me to see. I guess plastic surgeon's who don't want to believe that silicone can make some people sick prefer to hide the truth. So now I have a strict diet and supplement routine to follow for a year to get the silicone out. The people here at the resort have gotten to know us well and have treated us wonderfully. One night after a doctors appointment we went to a real, real Italian restaurant and it was unbeliveable. It puts Macroni Grill to shame!!! Lots of rain and cloudy days. Today it is sunny and nice out though. Today was the first day that I walked to the restaurant in the hotel so I think my wheelchair days are about over. Yeah!!!! Tom's a much better race car driver than he is a wheelchair driver. Well my arms get tired easily so I'll rest for now. Thank you all for your kind words and prayers. Love, Penni & Tom XXXOOO . Would you give a copy of the email to mom and daddy? Thanks.
Guest guest
Penni It sounds like things are still going well. I am jealous about the italian restaurant! I used to love italian food but now am on gluten free diet. Take care and I hope you can return home soon. Guest guest
Hi Penny, I'm sending healing thoughts your way. I'm glad that you're cancer free, and sorry to hear that the capsules had alot of silicone in them. This is a good lesson for anyone wondering if they really need the capsules out - the plastic surgeon who put them in won't be testing the capsules afterwards, and if you had a doctor who left the capsules in, then you'd probably continue to struggle.
