Guest guest
Dear Lynda, lovely to hear from you, I have really missed speaking to everyone. With a bridge do you have anything inserted into your gum? Love Sue
Guest guest
A bridge is attached to the teeth on each side, and is not inserted into the gum. They drill down the teeth on each side and make a bridge that is permanently glued in. I think that is preferable to a slip in that can break and contains a lot of plastic. And I am unfamiliar with the ones inserted into the gum, except for one instance where I knew someone had one that lasted about 5 years, then had to be replaced with a permanent bridge.
