Guest guest
I am writing a paper on cosmetic surgery, with an emphasis on breast augmentation, and how the media (especially TV) advises consumers that happiness can be bought. I registered into this group Saline Support, and I am now receiving at least 20 emails per day and am having a hard time sorting through these emails. I want to get to the heart of these "explant anniversaries" etc. I have been reading some great responses about various women's explant experiences, but do you happen to know any statistics that the Saline Support group promotes or supports as credible? There are hundreds and hundreds of websites with different facts and figures. It is overwhelming. I even tried to email The American Society of Aesthetic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, but they have not responded. It could be that they possibly did not appreciate the question I posed to them. I asked them why the numbers on both of their websites for the year 2003 Teens that received breast augmentations under the age of 18 were drastically different. The American Society of Aesthetic Surgery numbers state- 11,326 , while the American Society of Plastic Surgeons number state- 3,841.What could be the reason behind this dramatic difference? Thank you so much for your time! A overwhelmed, confused college student ~Jacquelyn New Messenger with Voice. Call regular phones from your PC and save big.
