Guest guest
Sis, This is right in line with what I've been sharing about the glutathione! It's so refreshing to get information you can work with, isn't it! At least it is a positive step in a direction...much needed when you feel like you are treading water. I take alpha lipoic acid, N-acetyl cysteine and also milk thistle daily. When I got my test results back from Huggins clinic, it said I was low in Vit C, and that is another very important anti-oxidant that we all need lots of. I'm taking lots of that now, along with one 400IU of Vit E daily. Are you taking any Vit C supplements? I'm going to stick with Garden of Life products...they are whole foods, which are really the way to go. The B vitamins are another interesting result....I had alot of trouble taking B vitamins early in my illness. I had the same type of reaction as when I took the green foods. They just made me sick. And then I was tested and found to be allergic to brewer's yeast, a high source of B vitamins. I've had a hard time finding a good B supplement that my body accepts readily. I've taken folic acid and that's about it. What are you doing as a result of your tests? Thanks for sharing! I was very interested in hearing what they had to say. I'm most interested in what you are being given for the B vitamins. I scored high for yeast/fungal, low for Pyridoxic Acid (a major metabolite of Vitamin B-6) which indicates a Vitamin B-6 deficiency, low Pantothenic Acid, another B vitamin, and here's something quite interesting: Low pyroglutamic acid, a metabolite of glutathione. Glutathione serves as an antioxidant and also removes toxins such as mercury and other toxic chemicals. Low values are due to either oxidative stress or chemical exposure. The recommendation is to supplement using N-acetyl L-cystein, lipoic acid and a few others such as vitamin C and E. Actually my Vitamin C level was great, it must come from the juice I drink (which is probably also feeding the Candida!!). I think I remember using L-Glutamine or something along that line and noticing marked improvement.Sis How low will we go? Check out Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates.
